Im a killer main and i know to, this event was definitely killer sided, i haven't been playing survivor recently just cause the toxicity and all the camping and tunneling and god awful teammates and then other times i get a killer that are extremely new and gets bullied by other teammates and then when i play killer i get survivors that are also new and i get the hole team down in like 2 minutes, and ive seen aton of toxic survivors as well and its just sad to see the killer getting bullied same with the new survivors

The entire event has been beyond miserable. And when I mention how slugging and such are out of control ppl say it’s only because gens go by too fast. Some guy tried arguing with me saying he knows a build that can finish a single gen in 12 seconds. It’s absolutely wild how full of shit people are and what excuses they’ll use to play as scummy as possible. If the game wasn’t killer sided it wouldn’t be so easy to do these things in the first place.

With the new patch coming any survivor dye in a hook the hook will automatically respawn after 60 seconds which is insane! They think that will stop slugging but it makes wiggling is useless 😅 they are just making the game way harder for survivors

@@noofalnajjar7468 right; ppl have been slugging and tunneling since the beginning and they will never stop unless BHVR introduces features that punish the killer for it. For instance, I don’t think killers should be able to drop a survivor - dropping them should count as “letting them go” and immediately release a survivor. It’s way to easy for a killer to just drop someone if they realize they’re running Boil Over or if someone sabotages a hook, and then they can just stand over the slugged body. They also should reset the bleed out timer when a survivor is healed back to healthy - this will make it harder for killers to get kills by bleeding people out which, in my opinion, shouldn’t be a thing in the first place. I don’t really think there’s a fair way for them to stop tunneling outside of making perks better. DS & OTR shouldn’t deactivate during endgame - ppl complain it’s a free win otherwise but 1) it’s only a guaranteed escape if you manage to activate DS/or take an OTR hit near the open exit gate and by that point I think you’ve earned your escape especially if you were tunneled the entire game and managed to keep the killer busy without using your perks. Considering how easy it is to face camp during endgame it would only be fair for the hooked survivor to have somewhat of an ace up their sleeve - it’s not like killers don’t have them as well. And the fact that they buffed DS to 5 seconds and then nerfed it to 4…. Crazy. It SHOULD be a long stun because it’s meant for the survivor to be able to make distance. Considering how limited the perk is we could even probably buff it to 6 seconds - if killers don’t want that long of a stun they can choose not to tunnel off of hook. But none of this will ever happen. Even mechanics that are meant to stop killer exploits tend to either be broken or end up buffing killers anyway. Anti-face camp: made it easier to tunnel off of hook as they can easily wait out your endurance or hit you immediately after you’re off the hook. Proxy camping became much stronger and killers can literally hang around the hook so long as they don’t just stand right in front of you and there won’t be enough time to unhook yourself; they can also abuse different levels on maps so that the bar doesn’t fill up, and your teammates are at a loss because if they think you’re being camped they might not go for the save because they assume you’ll get the self-unhook, and if they do try and the killer is still proxying it will just make it impossible for you do self unhook. And for some weird reason if the killer downs another survivor near your hook - meaning they aren’t able to help you - they can just leave them there and your bar won’t fill up; that one baffles me. And then we have the anti 3-gen. Killers had their base kick regression doubled and survivors now have to repair 5% of a regressing gen to get it to stop. And what’s the trade off? Killers can’t hold the game hostage anymore. In reality they could’ve just made it so that hook timers don’t increase if the killer is within a certain range (similar to Camaraderie) or go slower depending on the range which would punish a killer for not doing anything but hanging around the hook by wasting more of their time. And the way could just stop shrinking maps and work on better gen placements so that killers can’t hold 3 gens easily instead of the 8 (which is still more than enough for any killer) regression limit. But alas…. Once again I am sorry for my huge rant lol

Your reason on why otr and ds shouldn’t deactivate is literally the exact reason on why it gets deactivated. There’s literally nothing the killer is capable of doing if they just body block multiple times. That also doesn’t justify that “they deserved the win anyway” just because it’s endgame doesn’t mean the survivors deserve the win. I know this is just a rant, but I just wanted to say something.

@@phantasmo88 so you’re saying that the killer should be guaranteed a kill? DS ONLY guarantees an escape if the survivor is downed right next to the open exit gates. Otherwise the killer still has a chance to chase and hook the survivor again. Without being available during endgame it’s a wasted perk slot because it’s one use, doesn’t guarantee enough distance, can be missed which will deactivate it entirely, and you literally can’t do anything without deactivating it so unless you are getting hard tunneled it won’t help you. If a survivor gets tunneled for 5 gens of a chase, yeah, I think they should be entitled to use their perk. If a killer gets someone down during endgame they practically are awarded a free win because they can hard camp and there’s little to nothing the other survivors can do without offering a trade. It’s not like killers don’t also get a lot of advantages in the endgame. Look at Blood Warden, for example. If the killer hooks someone after the gates are opened they can be guaranteed to kill everyone who hasn’t left yet. That’s fair, but DS isn’t? And I constantly see players complaining that exit gates should regress even though it’s the one potential counter to Blood Warden. Why is that fair? Killers also have Noed which can catch survivors off guard and give them an instadown that they can then hard camp. Killer players complained so much about adrenaline being a “second chance” perk but you literally have to complete all 5 gens in order to proc it otherwise it’s a wasted slot and now if you’re hooked before the last gen pops it continues to be a wasted slot - its a high risk, high reward perk that awards survivors for doing their objective. Noed? It’s just the opposite - killers don’t have to do anything but lose all 5 gens and hope survivors didn’t already cleanse all 5 totems. They get free haste, and free exposed and even though it can be cleansed all they need is the first down to start a chain. Survivors have to work to get to the endgame and killers just have to be there and yet killers get the better endgame advantages. No Way Out & Remember Me buys them more time and if they pair it with Noed even better value, Batteries Included gives free haste across the entire map since all 7 gens will be counted as completed and even though they were going to deactivate it during endgame because it’s pretty much a map wide haste bonus that could also be paired with the haste from Noed they ended up reversing that decision because killer mains cried. Having up to, at most, 3 hooks out of the many on the map isn’t going to break the damn game but it might provide an advantage for the survivors that are left and it SHOULD. There’s no way it’s going to make sabotage uncounterable. Riddle me this: if two survivors are dead and there are two hooks permanently gone and you’re carrying one other survivor and you have a hook sabotaged who the hell is doing gens? No one, and the longer you have survivors not on gens because they are sabotaging, cleansing a hex, healing, or unhooking you are getting immense value - yeah the game might be being prolonged but that is in the killer’s favor. There are also a number of perks that can counter any kind of sabotage or dead zones - Agitation, Iron Grasp (which can also counter literally any wiggle build), Mad Grit, Starstruck, Awakened Awareness, and others you wouldn’t think of like Batteries Included, Franklin’s Demise, Overwhelming Presence, Fire Up, Dying Light, Thanataphobia, Forced Hesitation, The Third Seal, Knock Out, Mindbreaker, Play With Your Food, Unrelenting… tell me why killers shouldn’t have to be cautious of where they choose to hook? For every generator completed survivors have to be more wary as there’s less for the killer to patrol and if you run Deja Vu at all you can see that it’s possible for every gen to be in a 3-gen placement of some kind due to map sizes so as the gens get done and the survivors are closed to their objective the stakes actually go up and if they don’t want to be screwed over they have to be careful of which gens they choose to focus on at first… the same was and should be true of the killer albeit on a much smaller scale: every time they sacrifice a survivor and get closer to the 4k they lose a hook and have to be careful not to create a dead zone, but now they don’t have to worry about that at all. And I also saw some people complaining they shouldn’t have to run Iron Grasp or other perks simply to counter sabotage. Well, survivors shouldn’t have to run DS because there’s a chance they’ll get hard tunneled from the beginning of the game. They shouldn’t have to bring Unbreakable not to get slugged or Deliverance not to get proxy camped. The difference though is that all of these are one time use perks so they can help a bit against such tactics but they won’t be able to stop them if the killer is persistent. And, as we discussed, you can go the entire game without having to use your DS and then lose it when you need it - what killer perks deactivate entirely without them being able to be used outside of hex perks that can be cleansed? Exactly. The rant is justified. We can’t have a game where killers get these kind of advantages when there’s no downside or effort needed to tunnel, slug, or camp which instead rewards killers for playing badly. That’s way more broken than allowing a 4 second pick up stun once the exit gates have been powered. Maybe we oughta deactivate flashbangs and flashlights and sabotaging and Breakout and Breakdown and many other things because if they’re also done at the open exit gates they too can guarantee an escape.

My guy… body blocking exists.. if you miss the skill check, that’s entirely on you. Wait.. if the killer gets someone down at endgame.. that’s a free win? What??? My guy, 1 kill is not a guaranteed win unless two people are dead beforehand 😐 if you’re altruistic, go save them and body block your way to victory. If you wanna be smart, just leave and take the W. Blood warden, it’s not even that good of a perk. It’s extremely situational and yes, works well once it works, but you can literally just 99 the exit gate 😭 it’s fair because it’s your fault for not leaving when the gates are open, it’s bullshit with ds because it’s guaranteed to get you out if you get downed at the exit gate. Yes, noed is suppose to be an instant down to catch survivors off guard, pretty much a win in low mmr but pretty much a crutch perk for baby killers. I don’t know what to say on adrenaline cause I didn’t have any issues with it 🤷♂️ yes, adrenaline is a high risk high reward thing. But if you get hooked before hand, that’s just bad luck and I don’t know what to tell you. Yes, I can agree killers don’t have to do anything to get noed to start. Survivors have to work to endgame because that’s how the fucking game works. Survivors shouldn’t just be able to exist and all 5 gens get done, that’s bullshit. You just explained on why 4 perks are good on endgame when that’s just a fucking endgame build which most killers don’t use. But yes I was wrong, sabo squads won’t be uncounterable, but it’s still gonna be extremely close since you have to bring certain perks and just pray it’s gonna be a sabo squad. Killers shouldn’t have to be cautious because survivors can just go to a dead zone and just tbag your ass and then complain on why bleeding out is bullshit. Yeah, survivors have to be more careful the more gens get done, but if you get into a 3 gen, that’s on you. Unless the killer forces it, but that won’t last forever since you can only kick gens 8 times. Survivors can literally use DS offensively bro.. and deliverance is just a good perk in general. If the killer is persistent, the others can punish the killer for it by doing gens. Killer perks don’t deactivate besides hexes because it’s fucking killer bro, they have it for the entire game because they don’t die, they have to kill all the survivors and shouldn’t lose an entire perk slot if you lose it, except if it’s a hex. A single survivor is 25% percent of the squad while one killer is 100% on their own my guy. No downside? If you slug or camp, the others can do gens, if you tunnel, the survivors can waste your time or a single survivor body blocks and takes the hook. Also, why should tunneling, slugging, camping not be allowed? There strategy’s which are deemed “unfair” and killers are not allowed simply because it ruins the survivors entertainment. And no, flashlights and flashbang and the other stuff you said shouldn’t deactivate. Those are other survivors helping and not the survivor that’s downed. Now I want you to tell me on how they should fix tunneling, slugging, camping, I would like to know ( as in seriously, interested to see what you think they should add to fix it since most survivors deem it as a problem)

Toxic players like this guy who make their personal problems about another player (at least to me it seemed both games he purposely targeted you) into what is supposed to be a fun game does ruin it but don't be discouraged, especially in the last game that I chalk up to poor team mates, I mean Jonah waited until the last moment til he came to unhook you and no one else even came. If you do feel you need a break, by all means do what is best for you but please don't stop playing all together, I still love these.

Why would anyone in their mind run for any healthy survivors who were never hooked even once, when there is 1 injured survivor, and they are not even body blocking? On second clip he was simply zoning out 2 survivors, because they are around shack, and chasing 2 survivors around the hooked one is better resource wise, because they are not doing gens. It's not toxic, it's just being smart and doing their best to win.

@@ShmakoBola I can see your point but lately every killer play sweaty especially during the event I mean it’s okay if one gen left or gen rush but the skull merchant game was literally tunnelling and slugging me, I know the devs allowing tunnelling and slugging but to me it’s cheating a good killer should chase every survivor plus I don’t understand why killers think of kills way more than hook times if you think about it hooking every survivors two times is a win for the killer and they even get more bloodpoints that way. The for the Xenomorph he didn’t need to camp on 5 gens and true it’s the survivors fault for not unhooking me but you can clearly see the killer went for me directly instead of other survivor and what piss me off is the killer doesn’t want to find survivors they just go straight away to the hook and that to me is toxic play by the killer
