Dead Flowers! A song recorded by the Rolling Stones. Written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards, appearing on their 1971 album, Sticky Fingers. It features Mick Taylor performing a gorgeous guitar solo in lieu of a third verse.
I wanted to do this one in honour of Mick & the boys, who are KILLING it on their Hackney Diamonds Tour! I truly love them, and in particular, I LOVE Mick Jagger! He was and will always be my favourite performer, there's simply no one who can hold a candle to him.
This great country tune has been widely covered, by the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams 3rd, and Ryan Adams.
Anyway...I hope you'll enjoy my ukulele version of this Stones classic!
