As a lead vocalist for years I have never been one to like screaming vocals that is until Devin. This man has got a voice that makes the hair stand up on your arms. He goes from beautiful (yes beautiful) regular vocals to screaming octives that are mind blowing. He has turned this into an art form. It's no wonder that Steve Vai discovered the brilliance of this man's abilities years ago. Devin completely turned my head around and I'm 71 years old. I consider myself a young 71. Listen, Devin. I am happy to tell you, that I keep helping to increase your fan base. ;-) So at work I'm having my headphones (open ones) and people often keep asking me, what I'm hearing right now. Goes like this: Them: "hey, what your hearing" Me: "Devin Townsend." Them: "Who?" Me: "DEVIN TOWNSEND !!!" Them: "Ah, the Who, great Band" Me: "Not the Who. Devin, not Pete Townsend." Them: "aha, what is he playing" Me: "Can't tell. You need to listen yourself." (now handing over my headphones and get "Kingdom" as your signatur song ready) after a moment, they usually start that kind of soft headbanging, yeah life is good thing- often with a thumb up, while I am waiting impacientley for that eye ball pop out moment. And it comes every time, I play this song to somebody: "AHHHIIIIIII, Ahhi Wondahah!" Them: "Who is this?" Me: "Devin townsend" Them: "you've got to write that up for me." Me: "sure" Them: "Man, that is crazy shit, got to get this one, thank you." And Deng!!! another Devin Townsend fan won. You're welcome :-D

Worth it just for the Willy Nelson joke at the end. Outstanding. Would love to hear more from this set.

Just want to say thank you for uploading all the great stuff in this weird times and the nice interview at namm (or not having coffee) with Ola "Chug". Enjoyed it a lot =) Here's a link to the video of RedRocks in the perspective of Ryan Van Poederooyens drum cam. It's not DEADHEAD, but Supercrush and Poozers... and I think it is Mr. Neil Lim Sang with his cam there to see, right? kzitem.info/news/bejne/u3qVlpNrgWplfKQ Stay safe and healthy! Greetings from Germany

I love all the variations of Deadhead from studio, concert, and small events. Such command of your lyrics keeps them fresh. This recording pulled me in with shaped vocals, like an energy power up during an anime battle, fueling that wall of vocal distortion like a super blast of emotion. That is some sorcery. If I kiss any more ass here, I'll likely end up with a nugget. The visuals of your surrounding are amazingly complimentary. Guessing the air was dry out there. Those rock formations...wow! Delightful edition to video posting. Thank you!

I was here! I was by the sound booth the entire night. I saw you sitting there at one point and totally wanted a picture, but didn't want to disturb you during the shows.
