A big thanks to all for helping this make it past 50K views. RIP Captain Phil Harris! I chose not do revenue sharing after getting two emails from KZitem. I will not profit from Phil's celebration despite being unemployed. Once again, thanks all, and send a link to all your friends to check this out. 100K views anybody?

@lowbassfan and all have commented on this thread. Having these men come here has been a big morale boost for many of us who are filled with dread over this oil issue. It was a big boost for me personally. I certainly appreciate them for coming down in their time of grief and our time of tragedy. It is a pleasure to have them down here and I appreciate all they have done while here. I am happy to share this video with all, and I hope you get as much out of it as i have - RIP Captain Phil.

It was great to see all the captains, Jake n Josh, Mike Rowe, and the people of New Orleans celebrate Phil's life. Well done ;-) Loved seeing them all dancing... Jonathon and Keith sure got into it! In Australia, the new seasons have not been shown yet. We are getting lots of re-runs. Hopefully the new episodes will be shown soon, although its going to be hard watching Phil, knowing what will happen.

@camdensdaddy It was my pleasure to do this. Captain Phil Harris was a great man and a true American! Having the Deadliest Catch Captains and crew here in New Orleans was a major boost for many of us. It has been very depressing around here for the last 61 days.

Captain Phil Harris embodied many of the traditional values of America. Hard work, self reliance, and rugged individualism are just a few examples. His commitment to his family, crew, and friends is admirable.

zander712, Thank You for sharing this. Sure miss Phil! Lots of us do. His time here was short, but he had a hell of a run. You could do a lot worse, and most have. My thoughts go out to his Dad, Grant, and of course Josh and Jake. I lost my Dad a year ago. Still hurts, but memories are a beautiful thing. They sure help.

So sad to see the final episode tonight, with Phil in it. We feel as if we knew him. When you watch a reality show like this, you feel like you know those people. Phil was one of those guys, that you just know that you got attached too. His boat was the only boat I'd really watch. I wouldn't really follow along to the other boats. His boat just stuck out. He was a great man! All the best to his sons! I felt so sad watching, I lost my dad in November, so it brought back memories. xoxo

@densjo Phil would have been honored. The Jazz Funeral is a tradition normally reserved for black Jazz musicians that are native to New Orleans. To my knowledge an exception to that rule has only been made four or five times. An exception was made to honor Phil. A jazz funeral is the highest honor one can achieve in New Orleans.

@Clearly69 It was in the New Orleans paper and I think Fox 8 news publicized it. I did not find out about it til one or two days before the event. It should have had more publicity. It was open to the public and about 150 people showed up. It was fun and a great way to honor Phil, but the heat was almost enough to kill someone. Sorry you did not find out about it and I wish you could have been there. RIP Capt. Phil

@TIsbell68 Gee, i am sorry. I am not a professional cameraman. This video has been up for over a month and out of the 17,000 people who have watched everyone has had the decency not to complain up until now. If ya aint got nothing nice to say then keep ya trap shut. It was 95 degrees at 9 AM when I shot this video - if ya aint happy with the quality or lack there of, then to freaking bad! I did this for the fans, the Captains and their crews, and myself, and I think most appreciate it.
