I'm I the only one really bothered about a bunch of humans being able to kill the Xmen???? the XMEN??? I mean what?? Storm alone should've been able to stop all the attack.... And not even actually showing the "revenge" of Wolverine!!! That's the only thing that didn't make much sense..... It should've been Wolverine mind controlled or something like that took the Xmen out.

After watching the movie and knowing they said they’d never touch Logan the alternate reality of Wolverine was the one where Charles X made his own apocalypse killing all mutants like Logan sparing Wolverine. The Blade cameo with Wesley Snipes was such a reverent piece of cinema and Marvel's history that they should just let Snipes reprise the role in future movies similarly to Hugh Jackman. The entire audience fell silent in awe. They would not be the studio they are today, without the Blade movies sparing them bankruptcy. Secret Wars rolls along, Avengers need help. Loki/Deadpool: "Sure, I know a few people." Easy.

Gambit saying him might have been bor in the void references how Channing's Gambit was supposed to debut years earlier but ended up suspended in the metaphorical void till D&W. Hence Gambit joined the 4th wall breaking club.
