It's great to see another brother on the spectrum like me. Im a black man who is also on the spectrum too. I feel like we are very undiagnosed and unrrepresented in the community. Growing up I always felt like I didn't fit in with other blacks, because I was nerdy, emotional, socially awkward, soft spoken, friendly, affectionate, weird, odd etc. I struggled at times with being "Not black enough for the community" and it was hard, but im learning how to love myself and accept myself for who i am. sorry about your friend #RestEasyEarl

Even years after you've made this video I want to say thank you for sharing your autistic experience and allowing others to know more about Asperger"s Syndrome. I have Asperger's myself and was diagnosed at age 27. The hyper-focus you mentioned with watching an ant or bubbles pop really resonated with me. For anyone who wants the "official" definition: Asperger's Syndrome or Higher Functioning Autism is a neurological disorder which affects the way the brain processes information, social situations and behaviour.

As a fellow blerd and on the spectrum.... Thank you for this. It can be a very isolating feeling trying to explain how anime (and gaming/Fandom content) acts an outlet for the cognitive tendencies being on the spectrum affords. Many times on the social network groups I manage and participate in, being in the spectrum is a topic I struggle with especially trying to connect and be a part of a greater community. And listening to how you've transformed it into channel content..... You got a subscriber, definitely. Thank you again. Look forward to keeping up :)

Thanks again!

The nostalgia from that Tenkaichi 2 music hit me hard. Haven't played that game in years! I can relate to some of the things you were saying about the syndrome you have, tho I'm not sure I have it. A lot of things that people find funny don't amuse me and vice versa. I also don't give much eye contact when speaking to others because I feel weird just staring at the person the entire time I speak to them. I've always been different among my friends and other peers most of my life and it's hard when nobody gets you. But being around others who love to do the same things as you makes things a whole lot better. Being more in tune with the gaming community on youtube has been a big relief for me. Before 2013 there weren't many gaming channels that had what you see now. All you I would see are playthroughs, reviews etc but now there's so much more along with so many new youtube gamers than what we had before. I subbed because of Tekken but I'm always here to support anything you do brother. Keep up the good work and don't stop #RestEasyEarl

You are so expressive and as a fellow aspie I relate to this. I have not watched the whole video but I don't know about you, but I don't fit the typical stereotype of Asperger's syndrome! There are things I relate too such as not knowing how to predict certain social situations, thus requiring a script. I have intense interests that shift from time to time, though as I have gotten older they have reduced. But I still have the ability to become hyper focused depending on what specifically will interest me. I understand sarcasm (Though after many years of trying to make better sense of society,) I have learned and adapted so well over the years.

Thank you for making this video. It helps me feel better to know there are others out there with Aspergers who enjoy the creative process of video production. I understand the copyright issues you have all too well, as all my videos are flagged due to the content and music...but if your passionate about the process, and create for the sake of creation, then the money aspect of it all doesn't matter. The content I create is something I do out of pure enjoyment, while others think it's pointless to make something others can profit from, all while you spend countless hours, even days and weeks producing because you just want to. If you can get lost in the process, then the therapeutic benefits of the creation and sharing it with others is satisfying enough (although, making money from it would be nice 😊). I'd like to say thanks again for helping me feel better about what I do, because it helps to see others gain success from the same passion. Take care my friend.

This is the first video I have watched of yours and I must say, you are an amazing person! I am learning more about Asperger’s. I have adult ADHD so I’ve been told I’m “on the spectrum”, so I’ve been looking up some stuff. Regardless… you have an amazing sense of humor, despite the social skills set. I feel it does not matter to not know certain social skills sets because as a person, we can excel in other skill sets in its place. And I think you’re right, you are very analytical. It shows when it comes to how you thought about the copyright claims on your content. All in all, I am subscribing to your channel and I hope things have gone smoother since this video. Finally, you have my condolences for the loss of your friend. He sounds so amazing, but you can remember him through his memories so he lives on in your heart. Keep doing you and stay amazing; don’t let the world ever change that.

I was so shocked when you said Soul Calibur 4 and Soul Calibur 5. The Soul Calibur games are indeed my favorite video games to play. I have Soul Calibur 2 (PS2), Soul Calibur 4 (XBOX 360), and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (PSP). My brother has Soul Calibur 6 for his PS4 console, too. My uncle was the one who introduced me to Soul Calibur, when I was little, and I have now loved the games every since I played it, and I still play the games of it. I had shown my brother how to play the game, and he also loved it as well. Taki was my 1st favorite female character, because she is literally the baddest character ever. Maxi and Volvo was my brother's favorite characters. I didn't expect that you said Soul Calibur, but I want to thank you for mentioning it. Also R.I.P. to your friend as well.

I am YT my fiancé is a black female with Asperger's. I'm a highly conscious being myself, and at first I was like none of the stuff she does makes any sense. She grew up with a narcissistic mother, so add trauma into the mix, but I love her for who she is she's extremely honest, not super affectionate but when I express my wishes for affection, she tries her best. I can clearly see she loves me, but it's quite different. I'm very Nuro typical but with the NT processing so I can think logically and that works although once in a while, her odd behavior I get frustrated with, but then I have to remember what to do. Growing up in the hood example she saw around her, formed a unique Pinyan of the world, and my diverse background and friendships, and Dating have allowed me to close the gap and what she perceived I would be, and what I would perceive she would be . Yes she drives me crazy sometimes because she doesn't get any of my subtleties at work all the time with people as an extrovert it's quite a challenge, but it's a beautiful relationship in many ways.

Im seeing a therapist right now and they mentioned that I seem like I have aspergers or autism but the pyhscitrist can't have me tested for it because I'm a adult now and normally they don't test adults like they do children and teenagers

I suspected I might have Asperges for awhile now and was wondering how would I go about seeking help to see if i actually do. Like what type of professional should i seek?

Read and scan youtube, but then find a local, psychologist who specializes in adult autism/Asperger's diagnosis, this the hard Part. I'm struggling right now, hope you have really good insurance, it probably won't cover it.

I'm Aspergers and you don't seem like you have it that badly. Maybe it's the fact that you're outgoing.
