Awesome format man! Some storytellings while you are driving are even better than just drivings. Please go on with this video format. About the dealing with such contractors - I think it's not possible to work with not responsible people cause it will brings you more troubles in future. It will be optimal to let him finish current work and then let him go and find more responsible guys for this kind of work

You're 100% right about the contractor. I'm not working with this guy again. It's just too much of a pain in the ass. Thanks so much for the positive feedback on my current format. I'm playing around with different ways to do the channel and I'm starting to find my groove a little bit better.

The fam and I are safe - thanks so much for asking! So far we've avoided the plague and we're keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way. Hope you and your fam are ok as well. Bike is almost ready to ride. Should be back out there sometime in the next week or so. Thanks so much!

Never mix friendship with business. In the end you get what you pay for. You can handle that yourself there easy enough to do. I did 12 recessed pots on my own in my basement np. Good luck 😉 now you’ll have to be patient you can try but it will cost you a bit more all depends on how much longer he’s going to take??

Damn it, you're right!!! Ugh, I knew this was gonna happen and did it anyway. Thanks for the encouragement. I was thinking of doing the work myself anyway and now I'm annoyed that I didn't. The really annoying part is my lathe and plaster ceilings that are a pain to work with. That and the old asbestos fixtures that were removed.

Right Thing Motos I’m with you I hate plastering I have some outstanding projects I’ve been avoiding around the house as it involves plastering going to just suck it up and do it before summer. If there’s any kind of asbestos careful you don’t want to disturb it and expose your self or anyone to it. You’d need a proper abatement done to avoid exposure.

@@ironjoe4393 Yeah, that was hopefully done correctly. But again, cheap labor equates to cheap performance sometimes.

I’d say just let it go for this project, but don’t work with him on the other ones! It’s just like you said, what’s the point if the timing is all messed up?

I do need to let it go. It's just hard to do when my place is all disheveled. Ugh, should have listened to myself.

@Mark Winchester I've done some modest repair work myself - including tiling, installing a new toilet, and lots and lots of painting. I've even done a couple of light fixture replacements. The job seems like something I could potentially handle. I'm just not excited about the whole plaster repair piece.
