"can't believe life take this long" the first few times i heard this line i teared up. for anyone who's ever thought of ending it all, it captures the despair of utter boredom at your own life, the malaise of it all. asking, "when will it be over?" without even having the energy to do it yourself. it might be the strongest lyric ride's written, for me. i'm in a bit better of a place now, and i hope he is too. i hope anyone reading this and feeling similar is also in a better place.

After thinking of a meaning for this song, I have come to a conclusion. This song is about waiting for the end. For centuries, humans have been waiting for the end instead of taking advatage of the time we have. He talks about how we communicate and talks from different viewpoints. However he muddles this in nonsense lines just as we do, hiding our true feelings throigh a smokescreen of everyday roitine and life. Truly inspiring to me.

This song holds so much value in my eyes. It brings me to a time where I was in a really dark lonely place. The times I would fall in love for people who didn't even know my name. That's what the meaning of the digesting razors line is, its when you love someone so much but they don't even pay attention to you but you can't help but be obsessed.
