How were power tools and velcro invented? There is more than just video evidence. But I know no evidence will satisfy. Stanley Kubrick produced movies until he died in 1999. Not that is matters.

His eyes were misty the whole conversation. He's probably won a few arguments trying to be all passionate and tears starting to form, but you need to provide facts not tears. The "Institutions" and "Systems" that could not be named, I think is just another word for "Standards." White people instituted standards that we all must follow, but he thinks those standards are unfair to blacks - (which implies he thinks they don't have agency)

*I am SO fucking tired of the SJW argument that Tamir Rice wasn't responsible for his own death. Not only did he remove the orange warning "tip", but his encounter with the police was a direct result of his using that "BB gun" (I think it was an Airsoft IIRC) to threaten passers by. He threatened several persons and couples with that BB gun, causing them to call the police. The police were in fact over-adrenalined when answering the call, because they had been told that a person (it wasn't clear if it was a boy or a teenaged young man) was threatening people in the park with "a gun". Had he not been acting like a thug, threatening people, the cops **_might_** not have been so quick to shoot him when he **_pulled his "weapon" on the police!_** Tamir Rice earned a Darwin Award. He played stupid games, and he won a stupid prize - and its 100% his own fault.* *As for Philando Castille, it would be hard to argue that his wasn't a "bad shooting". Watching the video it is crystal clear that the cop who pulled him over should **_never_** have been on the streets: he was absolutely **_terrified_** when he pulled Castille over, and he clearly overreacted at Castille's actions in response to his order to produce ID.* *Rice and Castille are **_constantly_** brought up as examples of police brutality, but neither is a "brutality" case. Rice was a legitimate shooting which was brought on by his own actions, while Castille was a bad shooting brought on by a trainee officer who should **_never_** have been allowed on the street in the first place. Neither of them was a "brutality" case though - a brutality case requires an over-application of force (deadly or otherwise), and this description does **_not_** fit either case.*

How does a white guy get up on stage worth a black man who was born and raised on a plantain, during segregation. ..and tell him "you've never been around black people or in these neighborhoods! " He's extremely disrespectful towards Jesse but everyone should believe he's fond of and wants to help the black community. He's so angry, it's a good thing he's not a cop anymore. Smh. He isn't helping.

I think the problem is that he's done so many of these interviews on the same exact subjects that he no longer presents them in a reflective way...it's more like a lecture than a story. I've agreed with him more in previous interviews. Like when he talked about Tamir Rice he went through the entire scenario and showed that if the officer had acted appropriately it would have de-escalated the situation. I agree with him there. Our police chief always says that the police are there to protect everyone, even to protect the criminals from themselves. He's also fallen into thus "everybody" fallacy. It's the opposite of what Jesse does so this was bound to be a heated argument.

The violence is hard to watch. Here is Seattle a black young man shot five other black people a block away from a Bernie rally and it barley made the news. Its astounding what white guilt is enabling . The question about how much education has influenced his thinking was also quite insightful. Thanks for the interview !
