Yuji Takahashi is an incredible pianist and composer. If you enjoy this you should listen to his interpretation of Satie, which I think is the best. Extremely versatile, his was a pioneer of electronic music when it emerged in the 1960s and even today he creates electronic music that you would think was the work of somebody in their 20s, not their 70s. If you would like to hear a very beautiful and very short piano composition by him I urge you to search for 'Yuji Takahashi, Passiflora.' Passiflora is only 45 seconds long, but how sweet and poignant it is.

Hey Shin-i-chi, long time no hear from. Nothing like a little Debussy on a cold winter day. It's 20 some degrees in Saint Paul, MN, USA today, and this time of year that seems nice. If only Julius and Augustus Caesar had each taken two weeks from February then it would be March already. O well....

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for uploading this collection of music. It was a record I listened to almost every day more than 20 years ago, but my family lost it. When I think of Debussy's music, the music that comes to mind is this performance by Yuji Takahashi. As we listened and sang, the pauses and excitement all coincided. I didn't think I'd reaffirm this now. Thank you very much for the irreplaceable sound source.

Transports me to a totally different, tranquil existence. Love to paint to this (canvas not a barn)…Awesome!
A beautiful recording, but I don't like that the Bass is panned right and treble panned left. I feel like it should be the other way around, the lower register being on the left side of the piano and upper register being on the right. I know it's anal/knit picking, but that's just me

Much too rushed, heavy hammered, and over pedaled, and no expression whatsoever. Nothing but rushing and hammering. This is absolutely terrible. I do not like this rendition at all, I am sorry.
