I just hiked Wright on Saturday and the trail on the bottom was all rock and ice until one point where from there on it was all snow

It was great seeing you on the trails right before summiting Armstrong yesterday! I forgot to thank you for the snowshoes, I wouldn’t have bought / brought em if it weren’t for one of your latest videos. They definitely helped when I reached Gothics. Keep up the great work!

Question for you. What are your thoughts on hiking the elevator shaft down and hike out a frozen Ausable lake to avoid rehiking Colvin and ascending Blake?

Did you see the hike I did yesterday on my Instagram?

I have thought about this many times. I have asked people before and the best answer that I got was “you’re not allowed to technically, but no one will probably stop you if it’s in the winter time.” Doing such a thing is technically against their property guidelines.

@@JonathanZaharekI did see your hike on instagram and it got me thinking. Thought a good question for your hike peaks report. My plan is to come up in January to hike Colvin and Blake. Guess I don’t want to violate “their rules” and cause more controversy with the AMR. Thanks for your insights

@@seanmorrow6812 honestly I wish it wasn’t that way! I would love to be able to freely but the easement makes that very difficult…

for doing a high peak singularly is blake or iroquois harder?
@pear1831

harder than haystack is what i mean
@JonathanZaharek

No. Not even a close comparison. Both of those peaks take approximately 3 1/2 hours to get to. Haystack can take 5-6 condition depending

i’ve done all 3 in the summer and didn’t think either of them were very difficult but i did haystack with basin and saddleback , iriquois with algonquin, and blake with colvin. i thought the haystack day was the hardest but just getting to haystack wasn’t too bad
