I miss your old music. But nice to be watching again now there's a bell.

I find that keeping frozen berries and mangos isa great way to have sweets. I will add one stevia packet, and combine the fruit with almonds (for protein) and/or Greek yogurt. It is a way to satisfy a need for an ice cream texture -- but far healthier. Adding chia seeds with ground flax seeds to the mix also increases the fiber and protein. Also, extra sharp cheese and/or nuts with an apple is another great way to solve the "sweet" craving. But if you are craving a sweet, I think your body is really hungry for something with substance. So eating a salad with a vinaigrette dressing may actually solve the problem. The chocolates you mention sound great -- but far too addictive! Have a good day! Best regards, Dianna

One tip to help stave off sugar cravings, is to rub a drop of dill essential oil on your wrists. Definitely use a 100% pure theraputic grade oil brand like Young Living. They are the only company which has an FDA approved vitality approved line for consumption, as well. Of course, I encourage anyone to check them out!!

Just a heads up if you have a dog. Xylitol poisons dogs, so if you r dog gets into your sugar free candy, etc, take him to the emergency vet hospital immediately. Don't wait to see what will happen.

I've tried the low sugar and very low sugar regiment, and it does not work for me. I don't have a problem with sugar cravings, but too little sugar makes me easily annoyed and aggravated. I do not even like foods with a lot of sugar anyway. I usually water down fruit drinks. I will only occasionally eat cookies always preferred with nuts. I do eat bananas in my smoothies. I do like honey with my almond butter. I do like real maple syrup, but can keep it for months before eating it all. I just listen to what seems natural to me.

Scottish Short Bread... my weakness

Do you have a good recipe for Scottish Short Bread? My grandmother had a friend from Scotland who would sometimes drop by with a tin of her homemade shortbread, and the ones in the store are NOTHING like it! One of her daughters gave me the recipe, but they all say that it doesn't turn out like their mother's shortbread. I would give anything to re-live those wonderful childhood memories. (Do you maybe have to use a baking stone?)

I don't use a stone. But I will get the recipe for you when I get home.
