These were the individuals that (as far as i am concerned) were the greatest generation. Courage, honour, fortitude, & a no-nonsense approach to life. We owe our very existence to these incredible people - for without which, our subsequent lives may have been very much different. Thank you !

The British seem to make a continuous effort to keep their WWII heritage alive and honor those who participated…and rightly so. Interviews like this with eyewitnesses lend authenticity to their nation’s history.

Lotta people in France hail American soldiers for liberation. But you brits were even more to be credited. You survived on a knives edge being so close to nazis. My hat is off to you brits!!!!!!!

Some of the huge American companies still famous now, were trading with Germany, whilst Britain struggled on her own. A number quietly traded with Germany AFTER America finally joined in. Roosevelt had the secret service recording everything - but he died and America was happy to have such wealth at the end of the war and government did nothing. One of the most cynical companies dealing with - aiding the Germans, was a Jewish owned bank! Ford was a huge admirer of Hitler. Hitler was a huge fan of Ford's. Walt Disney was a great fan of Hitler but then hushed it up, when America declared war.
