Japandi style has my heart~ Here are some of my favorite shops that have some good options: Rove Concepts, Haiku Designs, Muji, and Sansho. I hope that helps. :)

This is the exact opposite of my ideal aesthetic (admittedly, most of the ones you’ve shown are), and yet I cannot stop watching them. So informative, so clear and concise. I love it.

Those chairs in the beginning are called wishbone chairs. We have some for dining chairs and they’re beautiful. Scandinavian design is great for this aesthetic, with shops like ‘scandium’, ‘Copenhagen design’ and ‘utility’ being great places to shop.

Well learned a new word today and also found the name of the style that best fits what I have going on. I do lean more towards the natural greens and blues of PNW though.

It’s amazing how overlooked *texture* is when people decorate. Maximalism, at least, lends itself towards texture. You have to be way more intentional and curated when doing minimalism.

Been in the process of building since the back end of 2019, and this is the style that we've had chosen since then ❤ Hopefully getting bricks and a brickie in 2 months and can FINALLY get our house built 🙌 Then I can style away 😍 🇩🇰🇯🇵

I think the trick to both scandi and Japandi is ‘is it found in nature?’ Both colours and materials found in nature seem to be inclusive of both of these styles

@Vivian Many people find that his videos are too fast. I recommend that when you're about to watch you click on the settings icon and set the playback speed at 0.75. because no way Nick is ever going to talk more slowly. He has at least one long video on Japandi. I'd still suggest setting the playback at 0,75. 😃

I love your channel, Nick, but shorts (in general) are effing annoying! Please don't spam our feed! How about posting these on TikTok or Instagram to promote your valuable KZitem channel? No matter how hard KZitem is pushing this new format on here, it's not taking off, it only infuriates the audience. Please take a look at big channels, and see for yourself how well their shorts are performing. Miserable view count on almost all of them, with even worse like to dislike ratio. Shorts are not worth killing your channel for.
