It never occurred to me about shutting off the pressure washer power and just using the pressure built up in the hose to do the door panels and door jams. Fantastic tip. Thanks for that. Cheers.

Good video Colton. How do you get the Tesla wipers to go up at the end when you dry? I always struggle with that on my Model Y

You need to turn on wiper service mode in the service menu. It’s the same process when you replace the wipers.

@@nws-qk9pj Thanks for the reply. When I chose wiper service mode it only brings the wipers up about 6 inches on the windshield. In the video, Colton had the wipers stopped at 90 degrees on the windshield.

If you keep using degreaser on those rubbers in door jamb, is it bad for the rubber overtime by drying it out leading to cracking?

Can the bug off mix go in a foam cannon vs the ik? Did you use a 50/50 mix with water and the bug off?

Hey Coleton, quick question. What advice would you give someone that lives in an apartment complex with a garage without a water hookup? What kind of detailing, if any, can be done in this scenario? Oh and another question: how do you keep the wheel wells clean? I’m not a huge fan of the material Tesla uses, especially on the real wheel wells, since they seem to hold dirt and grime.

Great question. And something I’m trying to find the right product/process for. I’ve been testing a few products off camera and hope to showcase it something soon. Check out my wheel well cleaning video. Some thoughts in there!
