It helps the kind of make a mental note of where you get stuff, but it also helps to lay it out in a particular manner so as to help you remember where you got it (depending how much there is); cars also tend to be like Puzzles, each thing really only has one place it'll fit, so even if you don't remember specifically, there will be some way to tell just by looking at it

I personally get high praise from friends and family for how well I know how to detail a car and even then I never reach this level of cleanliness. I've always wanted to make a career out of car detailing but idk how well that'd turn out, it's extremely time consuming and a costly thing for people who'd be paying for the service but regardless it's always something I've enjoyed doing. I absolutely love your work @The Detail Geek, keep up the good work and God Bless 🙏🏼💯🔥

One thing I learned when detailing: a car may be clean, but it needs to look good too to get 5-star reviews. So, I would always go back at the end and "stripe" the carpet diagonally with the vacuum or extractor (just like when landscapers mow yards). Those alternating diagonal lines take a good detail job to the next level.... customers LOVED it.

Probably 1-2 days or more because he needs to get the car at a time when someone actually wants to get up, talk to the dude to figure out what he wants, drive to the location, getting tools and cleaners out, getting camera(s) out, evaluating what to get done, actually cleaning and moving around the camera, detailing, checking his work, camera shots, delivering the car to the customer, put tools away and cleaning them, evaluating footage, editing, uploading, and done. The actual cleaning and detailing took 10 hours as he said in the video. All of the steps I said are what he MIGHT do, not what he does.

Hey man..I've been Detailing since I was a child and started a business from scratch 12 yrs ago..I love doing what I do so products..cleaning tools and quality has been an obsessesion of mine..I found along the way that using a micro vac kit for dash areas..center console..doors..any area caked with alot of dirt or just simply "junk" was so much more efficient then using a brush along with a vac nozzle..the micro kit vac has a brush tip that allows you to do both things at once giving you a better chance of not leaving possible scrape or scratch marks from the regular vacuum nozzle tip..just a suggestion..if you haven't already purchased one..Craftsman makes the best quality micro kit..Awesome work brother

It’s so kind of him to clean the parts that nobody will ever think to check or realized he cleaned, like the areas underneath the chair clips in the floor (I don’t know the name of them), it’s just so sweet of him to put in that extra work and it makes him all the more amazing, thank you dude for how hard you work on every vehicle you take in

Just a quick question hopefully you’ll see this. I’m a shop manager at a detailing place in west jersey was just wondering before you begin to steam a plastic panel or whatever you happen to be steaming do you APC the area and agitate it with a brush or do you just use the steam as the primary cleaning agent? BTW love the videos.
