Chop I see working out but patrick.....I'm not sure. Chop agaisnt the run and technique are issues but he's going to be eased in (if at east one starters plays). Chop upside is INSANE

I think chop is good against the run.

Chop has potential but lots of questions. Paul was my biggest disappointment. Nice kid, a good salesman selling himself to Grier and Mcdaniel. However I don't know if I've ever seen a tackle as awkward looking as Paul. Needs a lot of improvement in both passblocking and run blocking. Doesn't seem very strong or quick. I envision him being constantly embarrassed in training camp and preseason. I hope he's mentally strong.🙏🏿🙏🏿

I just got done watching a bunch of Paul's tape and from what I see he is great at pass blocking except has to work with chop to get him used to speed rushers. He definitely needs work with technique and run blocking. We have great coaches to work with him I'm gonna give the guy a chance before just writing him off look how long it took Austin Jackson to develop but with his coaching staff he is excelling I feel we can do the same thing with Paul.

@@tmf2442 Far from being great at pass blocking and terrible at run blocking. Too stiff, tall with no bend, awkward. NFL EDGE Rushers will run through and around him. I'm a Dolphins fan so I hope I'm wrong big time about him but right now I'd rather have the "human turnstile" , the right OT Davis that used to play for us than Paul.🤦🏿♂️

I disagree I seen some very good pass blocking but I'll agree he needs to work on the run blocking I don't think guys will run right through him I think you're going to have to run around him. You can have Jesse Davis and his trash play Paul is definitely better than him. I think you're really selling this kid short and you need to give him a chance to prove himself.

I don't like paul but he is STRONG and stoned people in the senior bowl. Run blocking meh, technique meh, feet meh but he can move and pass block.

@@mroverdose14 why don't you like Paul? I have to agree with your assessment I've been trying to get that point across to multiple people. I think his feet are average because I've read that his footwork got much better this season. I know the guy has things to work on but what player doesn't.

It is his responsibility but how is the coaching at Houston?

Both chop and Paul have very high ceilings and are definitely not going to be anywhere near busts. They are both outstanding players and gifted athletes and will both be plug in play players from day one.

there is zero chance Patrick Paul is a plug and play guy from Day 1. If he is starting this year then it will be a bad season

My problem with the Robinson and Paul picks is the “developmental player” and “boom or bust” labels attached to both of them. In my opinion, we should be drafting players that can come in and contribute right away in the first two rounds of the draft. Had they drafted players with those labels in round 3-7 I wouldn’t care in the least. Throw in Griers track record with these types of players and everyone should be concerned.
