Thank you for supporting the channel man! The Dolomites remain a highlight of this trip - they are otherworldly and vast... highly recommend, although avoid the holiday season as its BUSY with vans.

@@Papanchasonline we had hot wave until few days ago.. now is hovering around 30ºC in the afternoons, no rain at all

@@Stefan_trekkie that sounds doable. Where in the Bulkans are you? Im still debating if I should give it a pop - the heat is a deciding factor.

@@Papanchasonline I'm in Bulgaria.. too much east, your plan was for the Adriatic countries. If you return home trough more northern countries will be cooler but it flattens out the terrain. p.s. Return trip trough Czechia, Slovakia and southern Germany looks fine to me.

What scenery! an unbelievable fact is that if a precision made snooker ball was the size of Earth it wouldn't be as round and smooth

hi dude, really enjoying this video series. I have done maybe a couple of dozen european tours. the first four or so with a riding buddy, the rest solo, which is now by far my preferred option. your videos are really capturing that wide eyed wonder of doing a motorbike tour for the first time. you're doing great and learning what you like and don't like quickly, so with the caveat that all these things are subjective, these are the main things that I ended up with re approach to touring. early on I did way too much saddle time per day and not enough days off and would get cumulative fatigue that risked spoiling the trip, so now the general rule is approx 3hrs actual riding/saddle time per day, obvs not including stops. get to destination early and enjoy the evening. max 4 consecutive days before taking a day completely off the bike to relex and rest. this way I can pretty much tour indifinitely and remain fresh and alert and thoroughly enjoying it. never tour europe in july and august. may june september october are superb and massive difference in prices, traffic, tourists. also those extreme temps in south are much milder. personally I prefer to have booked accomodation before I set off every morning, that way I find i can relax and enjoy the day more knowing where I'll be that night. trying to find accomodation late in the day when fatigue is setting in just stressed me out. onwards!
