R.I.P. Jon. He was one of the, if not the absolute, finest keyboard players of the 20th century. He was the sole man responsible for making keyboards an acceptable instrument in hard rock and metal. Long live the legend that is Jon Lord. We'll see you in heaven

Love this song. My dad had this tape when I was a kid and I loved every song on it but the title track, this song, was the best. I grew up a wrestling fan and always though this song was perfect for an entrance theme. Imagine how hard I marked out when Shane Douglas "the Franchise" of ECW made this his entrance music. Still a great song all these years later.

SnakeEater866 well there is corn ball music from 80s then their is the music that is classic as well,, the 80s and 90s were a great time to be alive i was only 8 years old when this song come out ,,but i listened to all the music my parents listened to,, still do . Nirvana changed the rock scene forever.. RIP Kurt Cobain , he was murdered. Courtney Love was complicit in this. His suicide note was not a suicide note , it was a note to her he was leaving her and her band Hole was about to drop their first album and it would have ruined her career , she was having him Tracked down by private detectives and because the powers-that-be decided that he was worth more dead than alive and he no longer wanted to be famous and had gotten sick of the Fame game and everything that came with it he was murdered, new evidence shows this and a lot of investigative journalism. I hope that hooker gets everything she deserves!

Is it coincidence that every time I listened to this song I GOT REMINDED OF CHRIST? Christ the "PERFECT STRANGER"? Who has flown a thousand oceans & is the echo of our past? Who has known a thousand warriors & who has laughed as the spirits appear? And who hears us talking on the wind? Yes, it might be the echo of a point in time & pointing to Christ indeed! One of the most famous rock songs of all time appears to be singing ON CHRIST! Kindest greetings & regards from Germany!

Can you remember, remember my name? As I flow through your life A thousand oceans I have flown And cold spirits of ice All my life I am the echo of your past (echo of your past) I am returning the echo of a point in time Distant faces shine A thousand warriors I have known And laughing as the spirits appear All your, all your life shadows of another day And if you hear me talking on the wind You've got to understand we must remain Perfect strangers I know I know, I must remain inside this silent well of sorrow A strand of silver hanging through the sky Touching more than you see The voice of ages in your mind Oh, is aching with the dead of the night Oh oh precious life Your tears are lost in falling rain And if you hear me talking on the wind You've got to understand we must remain Perfect strangers
