It's amazing how much space Ritchie had in the band. That moment when he's ripping it solo and and everybody is silent and just watching him. There's a huge chemistry between all of them, but take a look at the connection between him and Jon Lord. Their solo parts, the moment when Jon Lord says something to him on the ear. One of my favourite live footage of DP. Only joy of playing together. No fuss, no drama queens, just music.

One of my, if not THE favourite vid of DP, for all the reasons you mentioned. I just never tire of watching this one. Paice has been my fav drummer since '72, when I was 12. He makes the transitions look easy and improvised as they were, they were not. Would love to see more cuts from this Paris gig!

Also if ya dig this song by Deep Purple on youtube 😀 you may enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZitem. 😀

The only existing full lenght wring that neck vs no footage cut out, showing the deep purple mark 2 as the where.... raw loud and very good. Playing the mule vs tonecontrol, some child in time parts, then jingle bells ect. Blackmore vs very well into hendrix and vanilla fudge. His guitar playing always show that some had and still can learn, no guitar player did tapping and control it like he does, so wild and good.... best living legend.

This song starts out great, but then turns into a total calamity--a train wreck! Roger G, Jon L, and Ian P cannot stand the spot light being on Ritchie, so they sabotage the rest of the song. They want to make as much noise as they can to drown Ritchie out, as always, but it is more obvious here. This is more like arguing, non verbally.
