as a Malay Muslim....i wld like to advise my Malay Muslim brethren......PLEASE DO NOT USE D WORD KELING....Its not a race but a slur and n insult.... Indians consist of Tamilan, Malayalee, Telugu....and many others.... kalau tak tahu no prblm.....sebut India....lelaki INDIA, wanita INDIA, murid INDIA....BUKAN (KELING).....

I fell in love with Laddu since my Indian friend first introduced it to me, I can eat 4 -5 of those Laddu in one serving. Diabetes? nahh who cares haha.. also, the peneram and muruku as well. It's a blessing to have different culture, different tradition blend together in this land.

Super cool info for us all, even we most Indians might not be aware of its origin...thanks Nandini for this awesome video. Sorry just to highlight a small technical error (at 7:35, the notepad graphics should be 'Ommapoodi' but it appears as Mysore Pak), sorry, not a biggie but incase 'some' gets really confused ;) Happy Diwali to all!

Well nandhini, claiming ownership of certain food may not be important. But history cannot be erased or forgotten. It is good to know the origin. Same like learning sejarah at our schools. We learned about parameswara, hang tuah and so one. We still keep what we learned. History never dies. History is knowledge...

I wish I can find that easily in here. As for kuih Ros, such a childhood snack to enjoy... If I can have it right now, it'll just dissapear.
