Thanks for watching, yea the William Marshall they produce seems to have very positive reviews as well as their Brescia Spadona model. Both show Deepeeka can make a good medieval sword. Their Gladius are favored as well. If this sword had better fit and finish it would be a great sword for the price. Thanks for the long distance greetings!

@@DynamoSwordChannel hi, hmmm i think tge milanese isnt for me....also looking forward to buy deepeeka godfred viking sword! seems that only this one is light enough for my expectations, the other viking swords seemed to be super heavy and overbuild...

@@TheCrusader1099 Yea, it seems you favor earlier period arming swords which the Milanese is definitely not, heard good things about the Godfred on SwordBuyersGuide Forum, should be a good one to get.

Interesting. Not a huge fan from what I've seen from deepeeka so far. Very much enjoy how you review and feature some of the more obscure, budget friendly options. Keep up the good work!

Thanks yea Deepeeka is very hit and miss with most models being a miss. Had hopes for this sword but the shortcuts to the fit and finish were pretty bad.

Do you think the finger ring on this one is done correctly?
@DynamoSwordChannel
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Matt, no I wouldn't say it's done correctly. I mean it's functional but it's definitely too thick and there shouldn't be gap between the end of the ring and the riccasso. Honestly it should more or less function as a simpler version of a finger ring seen on most Rapier or Smallswords.

Good sire do you think it would be possible to forge the finger ring to look more historically accurate (so it touches the ricasso). Blow torch and hammer. Then adjust the scabbard accordingly?
@DynamoSwordChannel

Maybe guess it would just depend on your skill level. Might be easier to just forge or fit a new guard.

@@DynamoSwordChannel Overall I'd say, historically put; a "munitions grade" piece. Thank you for your review.
