For the second story John first writes that Jesus wrote with finger on the ground, and yes that is allusion to Exodus 31,18 "When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God." But then after Jesus says let those who has no sin cast the first stone John writes, that Jesus wrote on the ground (now without finger) John alludes to passage from Jeremiah 17, 13 Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water. Jesus is God Almighty! God bless you all!

To not be unequally yoked is an encouragement to be with a believing partner but it is not a sin to be unequally yoked. 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 talks about a scenario where 2 spouses are unequally yoked, yet the believing spouse is called to remain with them for the unbelieving spouse is sanctified through the believing spouse.

You're taking it out of context, that verse means if you are both unbelievers and ALREADY married. And an unbeliever becomes converted, you're to remain married unless, if the unbeliever still wants to be married. A little fyi, Jesus was in the courtyard of the temple. The ground would have been paved with dressed stone. There would not have been any sand. I think the idea of sand came about through the misconception that the temple was a desert ruin, which it clearly wasn't during the time of Jesus. Knowing this, Jesus writing on stone has even greater significance.

Just because he didn't fulfill all the messianic prophecies doesn't mean he won't. Jesus has already fulfilled most of the prophecies and its very likely he will fulfill the rest when he comes back a second time. In Matthew 2 alone you read about how Jesus fulfilled some of the things that were prophesied. I pray that the next time you read scripture you will see the bigger message and not just cherry pick verses that support your view on the Bible. The Bible is not about you its about God. It is alive and sharper than any two-edged sword(Heb 4:12). God loves you so much that he was willing to send his perfect son to die for us so that we could call on Jesus and be saved! I'm praying for brother! Repent and believe that Jesus is Lord. ❤❤❤🙏

Sometimes, we fall into situations that 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us about, especially because some of the behavior we see in church ladies doesn't always reflect Christ. Just two days ago, I greeted some girls at church, introduced myself, and asked for their names. To my surprise, the reception was cold, and one even asked me for money simply because I asked their names like it was a transaction. In contrast, today I met a very beautiful Muslim girl all covered in black at the store who showed genuine kindness. She helped me choose cheaper rice, carefully packed my groceries, and was happy to chat with me. Her kindness stood out because it's not something I often experience. I found myself thinking about her after the taxi dropped me off. She was so sweet, and I wished she knew Jesus. But I realize I must stay mindful and continue following Christ's path. It’s moments like these that remind me how we sometimes fall short church girls can seem more caught up in worldly things, while some people outside the church show gentleness, love, and kindness that reflect God's heart.

The second one about writing in the ground is referring to Jeremiah 17:13 which all the leaders present would have memorized from childhood. Jesus was quoting Scripture, specifically Jeremiah 17:13: “Lord, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water.” By quoting this verse, Jesus was calling out the accusers for rejecting Him, the Messiah. Just as their names would fade in the dust, so would their rejection of the Lord. This reminds us that turning from God leads to shame, while embracing Jesus brings eternal life.

@@Pomni740Hey man, so the below scriptures are the very words of Jesus. And I know you might be tempted to skip it, but I urge you not to. Matthew 15:24 NKJV [24] But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 10:5-6 NKJV [5] These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. [6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So in the above scripture, Jesus made it known that he came for the lost sheep of Israel. You could also call them those that were in exile. And when he sent his disciples, he also sent them to the same people. John 2:19 NKJV [19] Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” And in the above scripture, Jesus was quoting Hosea 6:2 NKJV [2] After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Which was a prophecy by Prophet Hosea about what God will do in Israel. And when he stood before the Pharisees that was also one of the accusations they brought against Him in Mark 14:58 NKJV [58] “We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.’ ” And if we continue John 2:21-22 it reads NKJV [21] But He was speaking of the temple of His body. [22] Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said. Further more Jesus also said these... John 16:33 NKJV [33] These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Also one of the miracles of Jesus in Mark 4:39-41 NKJV [39] Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. [40] But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” [41] And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” And by the way this miracle was the fulfillment of a prophecy in the book of Psalms 107:27-30 NKJV [27] They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end. [28] Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. [29] He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. [30] Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven. So yes Jesus indeed brought peace to us. And then the most important of all... John 14:9 NKJV [9] Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? You are right, the savior is to bring a universal knowledge of God... And what is the universal knowledge that Jesus brought? that God had come in Human form, to reveal Himself to us clear and plain so that we can see, know and relate with Him on a personal level... So that you and the next guy and me can have a one on one personal relationship with God. Phillip asked Jesus, show us the Father, and Jesus said "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father" I belive that the perfect and definite illustration of someone is that person Himself John 14:10-11 NKJV [10] Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. [11] Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. And the phrase "I am in the Father and the Father is in me is in me" is the same expression as I am one with the Father and the Father is one with me. Just like when you take a bottle of Coke and a bottle of Fanta and mix together... The mixture becomes one with each other in a perfect union and when one moves, the other follows. And that is how and why Jesus can do the deeds of God and the will of God. And belive me that is the revelation of God that Jesus revealed. The kind that is so intimate that you don't just know God as in mental knowledge but you have tangible experience of Him that you can recall and relate with people. So I hope you see this version of Jesus whom we believers know and follow and give our lives. I appeal to you to start reading the new testament if you've never read it and pursue God for yourself because ultimately you will stand before him one day and no one else will stand with you... God bless you.

When Jesus went to write in the dirt with the adulterous woman. The men who brought her before Jesus they were actually breaking the law. The Old Testament said that when a person was caught in adultery they are to bring both the man and the woman to kill them. They didn’t do this. Now we know that Yeshua jesus in English gave the original laws to the Old Testament prophets. So most likely we did not write the names of the different men she had slept with. That is a common assumption. That the woman had commited adultery with some of the men there and why they left. But no they had broken the law by not bringing both, which just heard listed in the video. And Jesus didn’t mimic the father writing in the earth. He was who did it following the father’s will, so that is a correction for the video noticed. So most likely he wrote out the verse or just listed the location. Then some other law that compelled them to know they were in the wrong so left. That is my best guess.

A few things… Why is Jesus’ head a starfish? While it’s true YHVH (Jesus) wrote the 10 commandments back with Moses, the key phrase is wrote in the dust. There’s one other reference in the Bible in Jeremiah 17 I believe, where God is said to write far hearted hypocrites names in the dust and they’ll be remembered no more. Oh and why is the Holy Spirit a flying shrimp with a beak and abs? I have so many questions. 🤔

I enjoy hearing these, but I do have to wonder if you are not reading into the text sometimes. I find it hard to believe OT writers had that fully developed ideas of the Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I know they had a pretty good idea of "the word of God" as we see it in the story of Samuel and Eli and in Jeremiah. And the trinity is all over the OT. I know rabbi's had ideas of the two powers in heaven or the two Yahweh's from passages like the burning bush and Daniel 7 and Jacob blessing Joseph's children. But the first one for sure is not what the original authors had in mind.

The OT and NT writers aren't the authors of the Scriptures, they just wrote them down; the Holy Spirit is the author. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." This video truly opened my eyes to the deeper layers of meaning in stories I thought I already knew so well. The parallel between the servant in Genesis and the Holy Spirit uniting Jesus with the Church was incredibly profound, and it gives a whole new perspective on the role of seemingly minor characters in the Bible. The explanation of why Jesus wrote in the sand, connecting it to the Finger of God inscribing the Ten Commandments, is such a powerful reminder of His divinity. And the symbolism of the crown of thorns representing the curse of sin, which Jesus broke, was just beautifully explained. This kind of insight is what makes studying the Bible so enriching. Thank you for making these deeper meanings accessible and for reminding us of God's intricate plan throughout Scripture!

Regarding the first deeper meaning. The servant was Abraham's, not Abraham's and Isaac's, right? Wouldn't this be a reference to the orthodox understanding of the Trinity? (Where The Spirit only proceeds from The Father?)
@BasedZoomer
5 күн бұрын
You know, I guess that would depend on cultural understandings. In past Western culture, servants were linked to a family, not just one person. While they might formally be in servitude to the head of the household, they were under command of the whole family, and would be passed to the firstborn son on the occasion of the father retiring from his position or dying. In which case the servant, formally belonging to the father, would also be a servant of the son. But I don't know how Jewish culture treated this topic. Were servants part of the inheritance? That would be a good starting point. If Jesus claiming the Father is greater than He, and the Father/Son dichotomy and relationship are taken at face value it would be pretty easy to look at it thus: Father is over the Son, the Son is over the "Help", which would be more in line (I say more as to say not completely per say, as it depends on the interpetation of "to proceed only from the Father") with the Catholic understanding that the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. Again this is all heavily dependent on what the cultural view of servants in relation to households was, so may be totally different from what was said here. But I want to be careful here as I want to honor the Holy Spirit, and not blaspheme Him as having a place lower than what it really is. In light of that, being divine it must be so that even if the Spirit takes a place of submission to the Father and the Son, being God is still far above us and what our conception of a servant is.

I don’t know much, as I’m still a minor and am still repenting for my own problems, but here’s my response to this! :) You said that a verse stated that Jesus would rebuild the temple. I think He wasn’t talking about the actual temple, but his body. He died, and then, after three days, He reconstructed Himself and rose again! You also said that when the Messiah comes, that there would be an end to war and conflict. I don’t remember this being in the Bible, but then again, I’ll admit I don’t really read it a lot. I think it’s talking about the second coming of Jesus (AKA Judgement Day (I think that’s what it’s called??)). Anybody else here, feel free to add to this or correct me! God bless ❤

Two weeks ago my church went through the chapter about the servant and I was touched by how the servant asked God before he did anything as well as the fact he was unnamed, so he was an example to us th ask God first before we do anything and he also immediately thanked God. Our pastor had mentioned he thought the servant might have been ELiezer but didn't mention more. So thank you , I was curious about that, our pastor doesn't often leave us hanging like that. Also Psalm 23 I just heard a sermon by one of my favorite preachers on KZitem and he explained how sheep are very skittish and will not drink from running water so the he leads me besides still waters takes on more meaning. I want you to know that I so appreciate your site! I just found it a few days ago and immediately subscribed. The person of God in the old Testament is ACTUALLY Jesus before he became man. He WASN'T mimicking the father, he was mimicking himself. Now as to what he wrote on the dirt? Jesus writing on dirt was a reminder of God writing the Law on stone. The Law REVEALS sins And he said let he who is without sin cast the first stone.... and people started to dissappear one by one as he wrote, and none of them threw a stone. Think about it..... Jesus wrote their sins right there in front of them. 😂 They couldn't cast a stone because their hypocrisy was revealed

I love this way of thinking let me at something, on Eliezer story there is a request of the Father: you won’t choose a wife for my son from the Canaanite women among whom I live. 4 Go to my land and my family and find a wife for my son Isaac there. ------- We really need to rethink our identity. Are we a "gentile" church" or are we going to behave and keep the identity of the SON?. Gentiles have nothing to do with the law given to Israel. But the people that decide to understand what means to be grafted in Israel (Rom 9:3-5) will heep his covenant and all that it means. Eph 2:11 So remember that once you were Gentiles by physical descent, who were called “uncircumcised” by Jews who are physically circumcised. 12 At that time you were without Christ. You were aliens rather than CITIZENS of ISRAEL, and strangers to the covenants of God’s promise. In this world you had no hope and no God. 13 But now, thanks to Christ Jesus, you who once were so far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

2 Cor. 6:14 does not say "be not yoked together with unbelievers" but rather "be not UNEQUALLY yoked with unbelievers." Nothing wrong with a christian having non Christian friends or even married to non Christian. But we cannot be unequal. I cannot compromise my faith to keep that relationship. If my friendship or relationship or work or whatever it is will cause me to sin then I need to either get stronger or end those relationships or quit that job. Marriage is different if already married. Paul told them in 1 Cor 7 to stay married if the unbeliever is pleased to stay. If they depart let them depart (this is not grounds to divorce and remarry). The bond here is not the marriage bond but slavery. The christian is not so enslaved to their spouse that they must leave God to keep their marriage together. Let them depart. God has called us to peace. Can't force them to stay. Their situation was different as they were under a lot of persecution. Many unbelievers would likely leave because they aren't Christians so they don't want to suffer persecution. The christian can't leave God and if they go with the spouse persecution would follow. So they had to let them depart and remain faithful to God. You can have relationships with unbelievers. But you cannot compromise your faith or be "unequally" yoked.

He probably wrote something more metaphorical, after all, if Jesus wanted it to be known he would have let it be marked, but instead I believe that the writting is reading us instead of us to it, that it reflects our need to find purpose to every action and existance, and that we wonder over something that we should guide ourselves and know that scripture will never be able to be applied to all issues, it shows that we care more about the letter of the law, rather than it's spirit and God, that we care more about using that which would condemn us all, rather than forgiveness and the message it wants to send, that we care about being right rather than to do what it's right.

Great videos but they would be better if you quote the verses you mention!

@@EliyahuShual typical christian does not follow Torah, their jesus allows any animal to be eaten. A Messianic believer will walk out Torah including observing Sabbath and the Levitical dietary commands. Based on your name, you know of the Torah but if so, your Messiah is your Master and not a christ. That is term jesus followers use. If you are walking out Torah, you are ready for 2nd Exodus which will be at the Last Trump. Would not call that a rapture just yet. First is the rapture of wicked: Proverbs 2:20-22
