The Boston 100 is a vst by IK Multimedia AmpliTube based on the 1980's Tom Scholz Rockman X100 pocket Amplifier. This was heavily used
on Def Leppard's 1987 epic album Hysteria, which has since gone on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide, and produced 7 hit singles.
In a recent interview, Phil Collen has stated the Rockman unit was used in recording over 95% of the album. I have tried to play a
section from each song on the album where the Distortion effect was probably used. I will follow this up with a video for the clean tone
section. This is also a personal tribute to the late and great Steve Clark on the 30th Anniversary of his passing. RIP Riffmaster. Enjoy
