Those are some famous last words if we ever heard them...the latter half of your statement~! ha ha. But most definitely, the first is a wise calculus, always obtainable. It makes me think that very angry words we haven't heard in this trial were exchanged by these two men during those phone calls. Davis's shirt off and his wallet left in his car also speak to that *Davis was indeed expecting a physical confrontation* so he must also have been welcoming one, being as how he agreed, and did go to meet him. I recall from earlier testimony that Ackerman had given him an out at least once by saying that he changed his mind about the meet. He should have taken it.

If I were on trial I would want Mr Meadors for my attorney. He is awesome. He sent Murdaugh to prison for murder.

The prosecution could have got an expert to magnify the sound of what he said after hitting the victim. Would have made it even more damaging. They did that in the charlie adelson case where the conversation at a restaurant was sound magnified for clarity.

This guy needs a new lawyer. First, 35 miles an hour is insanely slow when driving down an unoccupied road. Second, his lawyer allows this prosecution to ask questions that have been answered several times OVER and Over again.

I agree - his lawyer is terrible ! Even the direct was horrible it was as if he was meeting his client for the first time. I was cringing the whole time. Absolutely terrible representation.

35 mph Is not slow when ur reaching a dead end or culdesac

@@alesia912 The stopping distance at 35 miles per hour is 100 feet on average (with adrenaline running, probably more like 60 feet), which is roughly the length of a semi-truck or a front yard. So yes, it's slow even when reaching a dead end, or at the very least it's not fast.
