Operators please DO NOT stick your hand in openings like this. Sticking your arm through a hole in a steel tank in that manner is insane. And by all means don't yank and pull. Anyone with equipment safety experience and common sense must be deeply disturbed by this recommendation.

These filters are terrible for large capacity aquatic centers. The media has to be changed every week and it is a real pain. Do yourself a favor and stick to sand filters!

Arthur Bedard I have one at the aquatic center I work at and we only have to change it twice a year do you bump your system every day?

Grant Richardet oh yeah. The one for our outdoor pool with a lazy river and 2 slides has to be bumped multiple times per day. After a week or 2 our media is so gummed up that it has to be changed. I would give anything for my sand filters back.

Ugh same here. I am an operator for a park with a similar set up to yours. I am literally changing my media every two weeks. I convinced the owners to switch back to sand for our expansion. Glad to see I am not the only one with problems

@@The_Blobb it’s usually the sun screen that clogs them . Make sure to clean the very top of the filter by the top of the tubes lots of nasty shit sticks together up there
