This is a Zoom talk I gave for the "Center for Indic Studies" on the attempts and techniques used by foreign religions to diminish or even extinguish the indigenous cultures of India's northeast region in such states as Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, and others. Herein I describe my experiences of two tours I took, traveling and lecturing in the area, and what I saw and learned from the people there, and how to help them protect their traditions.
This is an important issue that many people are not aware of, but which is important to the continued existence of the traditions of these indigenous and Dharmic cultures, some of which have existed there for thousands of years, even back to the Vedic times.
