@@1mnyenaphar727 Yes, Europe is responsible for protecting Europe. Like albevanoy has stated "Protecting Ukraine is Protecting Europe. It is in our interest." both are interchangable, not seperate. Ukraine = in Europe, Ukraine = part of the European continent /peninsula, Europe = at war, through proxy siding with the Ukrainians against Russia. Let me go even further. Europe should have intervened in 2014 when Crimea was invaded. Europe should have intervened in 2008 when Abkhazia and South-Ossetia were invaded. The only murky part due to my lack of knowledge on the topic is whether Europe should have intervened or not in the 1990s to let Chechnya be an independent country instead of it being just annexed by Putin, spoiler alert: In our reality they did not. But at the bare bone minimum, Europe should have intervened starting 2008! This is not just a Ukrainian war as Ukraine is in Europe, this is a war on European soil, a European war. We should protect Ukraine, we already are too late and way overdue which pisses me the hell off. So stop smoking those blunts and come back to Europe. Europe is at war and we need to do everything to protect ourselves.

As long term liberal leaning voter i will say a bit unpopular opinion - migration will again play a massive role in EU elections. And i hate to say it, but the longer security state in western europe/countries with high migration rate will deteoriate and integration of people from problematic cultures will continue, we are giving a free ammo to right-wing nationalists/populists. If i will have to choose between saving the EU in its full member states ammount and letting everyone from Afghanistan, Syria or Pakistan into EU, i would prefer saving the EU and our liberal values. As long as nationalists will have this "islamization of europe and failing intergration of problematic african/middle eastern cultures" argument, they will grow in % numbers and will finally collapse EU and create more "Hungaries". Also we have to understand that european liberalism is something rare and big part of the world is more into authoritarianism, relligious illiberalism and do not support lgbt rights or women equality. And by bringing the people, we are bringing their ideas. What i would prefer is to help north africa/middle east region to prosper, so the people would not want to migrate and have opportunities, wages and healthcare there.

And about supporting Ukraine. It's not supporting Ukraine. It's supporting the western civilization order which is based on the international law. Failing of Ukraine means that the international law and rules by which western world lived for more than 70 years is not actually working anymore. That actually means the crash of the juridical system starting with the UN ending with the nuclair security and dettendence treaties. Many countries in the world, like Taiwan, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Arab Emirates and so on, will realize that the international law is not protecting anyone anymore, and that the only means to protect themselves is creating a nuclair arsenal. The whole security system will fall into pieces when all of these countries weaponize themselves to the teeth withing next 10 years. Besides, many, many, many conflicts all over the world which is now lay silent and practically extinguished by the international rules, will flare up again in enourmous sizes and numbers and no one will be able to stop it. All the dictatorships countries, who now not invading their neighbours only because of the punishment they get from the world juridical system in place, now will be free to act according to their views. With the weapons we have now, if that brakes out, we'll get ourselves back into the stone age in 10 minutes time. So all those shortsighted people who advice NOT to support Ukraine, actually sell their children's lives and future for the illusional benefits of now being greedy about few billion euro's. About those people there is a saying. "The one's who choose shame over the war, will get both shame and war".

What international law allows the US to stay in Guantanamo after they tortured people there (which itself is a violation of the international humanitarian law) and the agreement on Guantanamo became void? What international law allows the US to stay on Chagos after the ruling of the ICJ that it belongs to Mauritius? Just because the Europeans shat in their pants first time since WWII does not mean it's the first violation of international law since WWII. The international law is not something that revolves around you and your interests.

I am Czech and Slovak dual citizen livingin Denmark. So potentially 3 countries I could vote in (I am going to vote in Denmark). In Slovakia I would vote for Progressive Slovakia party (Renew). In Czech Republic I would not vote for a Renew party ANO, because it is led by ex-PM Babiš, corrupt and incompetent guy close to Fico and Orban. Instead I would vote for Czech pirate party (greens) or Mayors and independents (EPP). In Denmark it will be one of the Renew parties, I need to look into the details.

They definitely got my vote. I’m not sure if others will agree with my reasoning as to why I’m voting for them, but I’ll try to explain how I see it. When it comes to making policies and trying to solve problems, it’s important that one first tries to understand the interrelationship of the various factors involved. I found that many parties tend to have a somewhat one-sided view and look at a given situation mainly from one specific perspective. The result is often policies that go like “Obviously the problem is X and we need to do Y to solve it!” Such proposals are easy to understand and easy to promote to voters. In reality however, problems are rarely that simple and every piece of the puzzle is intertwined with every other piece. And every potential policy that we can implement has advantages and disadvantages. In short, you have to look at the bigger picture. Personally, I’ve found that what we call “centrist” or “liberal” parties are the most likely to arrive at more nuanced and realistic approaches that take different factors into account. Of course this doesn’t mean that other parties aren’t capable of analyzing a complex situation or that all centrist parties are brilliant problem solvers that never try to seduce voters. But it’s a rough overall trend I observed. I support Renew’s approach of a more integrated, more democratic and better organised Europe that is a significant economic and military force. Us Europeans are strongest together. I think that other parties are somewhat more focused on appeasing voters with proposals that “sell well”. Renew has my vote because I want someone who looks at the bigger picture and really asks themselves where they want this continent to be heading. I’m not sure if or on what parts others agree with me here. Feel free to share why you would or wouldn’t vote for them. It’s always interesting to hear the assessment of others.

They sound convincing. Lets see if they have the necessary support. Although their social aspect isn't that impressive, if they can add better citizen support safety nets then they can convince a few more people.

I really support renew europe but sadly the only party from my country is totaly against their core values... I do not really understand how did they managed to get there when their domestic politic is so different than what renew europe stands for.

About the green deal…We are about 9% of world pollution so does it make sense ? I mean it would be smarter building green/nuclear energy in the developing countries. We could take a percentage of the energy and they can use the other instead of the carbon based one
