Thank you. That lightbar is very powerful in day time and at night you can't even look directly at it. It would have been nice to have more special vehicles with that lightbar, but only Deltamed manufacturer used it. We expect new ambulances to arrive this winter, and a part o them are from Deltamed and a specification of the lightbar is to have two white lights in it. I hope they'll use the same lightbar, but in blue.

I hope that they use more Whelen lights in general :) Personally I've experienced no brighter lights than Whelen lights. Many of the lights on the other vehicles don't seem bright. Do you know the reasons behind different colors? From what I know Fire Departments mostly use red. Emergency Medical Services use blue and Police blue-red if I'm right?

I also hope that manufacturers of the special vehicles will use more Whelen lights, but in Romania, the manufacturers in most cases are using the lowest quality lightbars, most of them from China with the lowest price. They don't put accent on this. As you can see on the Renault K trucks with the containers, wich manufacturer of them is a romanian company Gradinariu Import Export, or the MAN TGM firetrucks with the same lightbar, manufactured also by romanian company Romprim SA & Gradinariu Import Export. Brighter and quality lights are used on the Scania firetruck manufactured by WISS Poland, or the Iveco Magirus ladder, or MAN TGX trucks from the end of the clip, manufactured by Deltamed. New Fire Trucks and Ambulances are expected to come this winter and in specifications they must be equipped with many and powerful LED lights and lightbar. We'll see when they arrive. This parade was the National Day of the Romania Firefighters celebrate on 13 September and only special vehicles from the Fire Department participated. In Romania, the Fire Department (normally) use Red lights, Ambulances uses Blue lights, Romanian Police uses Red & Blue , Jandarmeria and Local Police uses Blue.

Unfortunately that's a problem which affects most of Europe. Even well known manufacturers have not much clue about good and effective lights and how/ where to mount them for their full effectiveness. Those on the Scania, ladders are a bit brighter but still far away from Whelen's brightness and quality. If you get any information about the arrival of the new fire trucks and ambulance it would be cool to let me know! :)I'm excited to take a look at those. You can also email me at RTobiYT@gmail.com Do you know what the reasons behind different light colors is?

Ok, i'll send you an email when those new fire trucks and ambulances arrive, the auction in on the final steps, so i hope first of them will arrive in 3-4 months. About the lights color, there is no specific reason, that's the law in Romania. When you meet red lights, tehnically you must stop on the right side of the road ( but no one does that ), when you meet blue lights you must give priority to crossing, and yellow lights you must pay attention . I'll copy-paste you with google translate something from the law : a) For Red Lights - Vehicles belonging to Police and Fire Department; b) For Blue Lights - Vehicles belonging to police, gendarmerie, border police, ambulance or legal medicine, civil protection, the Ministry of Defense accompanying military columns, the special units of the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Protection and Guard Service, the National Administration of Penitentiaries within the Ministry of Justice , service vehicles of criminal prosecutors from the Public Ministry, as well as those belonging to the National Anti-Corruption Department, when moving in intervention actions or missions of an urgent nature I hope you understand. :)
