What a simple and powerful excercise! thank you! i've jbeen doing it for a *whole* day now and it already helped me in certain situations i was struggling with before. and then this morning i had an interesting realization... as i woke up, i yawned and stretched my hands up and around... and realized it's virtually the same as the excercise you offer here! yay for body intelligence, ha?! thank you for your constant reminders of staying aware of the intelligence that's already there

Thank you so very much Karla for your great work! I've watched most of your videos and read your books 😀 I've found setting my boundaries to be where I need to pay most attention. I didn't have them - wasn't even really aware that I was allowed to have them - and ended up badly burnt out. I have a question - how to preserve boundaries in a crowded space? I tend to pick up on people's emotions when I am out and about and it's not possible to maintain enough physical distance (for example, on public transport). This leaves me feeling drained and sometimes overwhelmed. Thanks again for your truly amazing work.! 🙏

Hello Misia. Your boundary maps the space around you and become smaller when you're surrounded by people -- so it is still there. For many people who pick up a lot of emotion from others, the problems can come from emotions they don't yet have a practice for. For instance, picking up laughter or happiness from others doesn't bother most people, because they have a way to work with those emotional states. If you have trouble with emotion contagion, note which emotions tend to throw you, and work on those. There's a video for each emotion on this channel.
