Just like Abe, beating the shit out of those drums. Love that snare, well done sir.

+sinegal siniy I think this is definitely one of the best songs to really show off how good Abe is compared to other drummers in comparable bands...he really is quite a bit above the average skill level as far as drummers in other metal bands are concerned. Duane, you are killer, by the way.

+Duane Walters Don't know why I couldn't tag you - as someone who has played in pretty much only a school band (trumpet at that - but 1st chair!!) what could you suggest as far as learning to play the drums? Pretty much been hell bent on learning to play the drums as long as I can remember, and I now finally have the money to buy my own drum set...any help would be appreciated. Every time I hear Abe playing it makes me want to get on that level pretty badly lol

+Tom McKenna Well, that's sort of a tough question for me to answer. I've never had lessons, I started when I was 4, and I turn 34 in April. I started out with Motley Crüe, Metallica, and quickly progressed to RUSH stuff just watching, learning, and failing, but always pushing forward. The only thing I can think of is start with the basics. I was in band/marching band all through middle school/high school, though never bothered to read music, or learn techniques that were good, and I wish I had. I can read now, but have problems breaking 30 years of bad habits. I know Mike Johnston has some really great lessons online that won't break the bank, you could try there. The only thing I can say with certainty is to just not get discouraged, really pay attention to what's being done, break it up into bite-sized pieces, and be patient. Feel free to hit me up any time, I'd be willing to help in anyway possible. In fact I've been thinking about doing another section of tunes that I break down.

+Tom McKenna Ran out of space... I was thinking of doing another section where I break down tunes, play them slower, go over tougher parts and at least attempt to explain what's going on as best as I can. Like I said, I never took lessons or bothered to learn to read music, but I've obviously learned the basics over the years. Would that be something you'd be interested in? I'd be more willing to do it if there's interest in it.

I think you really nailed it. I don't even mind the extra cymbal splashes at the end. My only complaint is the intro, when the pattern repeats, that small section just feels a little off. Maybe it's the roll when it sounds more like Abe just leaving a little pause break. Sorry, hard to explain, that part just threw me off but overall great stuff.
@KowProdMedia

Sharing Lungs Thanks I guess? Not really looking for critiques, kinda just do this for funsies. I'm sure it's not perfect, they don't record with a click track which can make things interesting and Abe never plays the same thing twice. I'm never out to play whatever I'm playing note for note, I just jam, and most of the time, it's on point enough to help someone who has maybe struggled with a piece, but again, I do this for fun, because I love to play, and I enjoy working with video. So thanks for watching. 🤘
