Can you get to a swimming beach from the North campground? It looked like you only had access to fishing piers.
@TheCampoholics

Yes, simply walk along side of the inlet, under the bridge and you have the beach.

I visited this beach in 2017 and it was amazing then came back in 2019 to see that the beach got washed up, was wondering if they fixed the beach yet?

Oh yes, they pump sand back up ont the beach. They have to keep it in operation, it's the states money maker.

Hello! I’m planning on going there next week I was wondering if you could get to the swimming beach from the tent only section on the south shore within walking distance? Awesome video!

Thanks! Yes you can, there is a pedestrian crosswalk that leads to the ocean beach front. Probably a 12-15 minute walk.

Thank you! We might stay in one of the north side cabins soon to break up the pandemic blahs. Don't mind if it's cold. Change of scenery, see water from the window, stroll around with coats on, go onto the actual beach, drive around a bit. This was very helpful and pleasant.

@@TheCampoholics we got engaged at Rehoboth Beach in 1995, honeymooned there, took our son there and continued visiting! My husband visited a lot as a kid. It's time for us to expand our wanderings of the area. We enjoy the Lewes-Cape May ferry. One year we stopped off Route 1 to check out Slaughter Beach and I got to flip a horseshoe crab. Ever been there?

I camped there years ago its nice that you are near to beach and bay also maybe 5 miles from Reohobeth beach to walk around eat and all the beach things people do. Sites are basic but location location. ..... They Say

Heading there this weekend. How was the wind? We will be tent camping in the standard sites on the south side. Trying to plan. I usually camp in more forest type places. I know there's no shade. Thanks for this video BTW very helpful... not much info on the website so this helped a lot.

The wind is so tuff to call. I would simply say count on a continuous 10-15 mph. If under, you got lucky. Thanks so much for watching! Enjoy your stay at Delaware Seashore State Park!

Which side, north or south campground is easier to walk to the beach? We need full hook up.
@TheCampoholics

They are both easy to get to the beach, but the south side has more amenities (pavilion, camp store, snack bar etc)

Heyo! I'd like to ask if there is a shop to buy bait of such, also I'd like to ask what type of fishing rods are the best for fishing there.
@TheCampoholics
3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Yes, there are 2 bait shops north and south of the campground. Any type of salt water rod will do. The inlet is very deep and the current is strong so you’re gonna need a heavy sinker.

Hello Misty. I am sure that sir number is on the south side of the inlet. Tent camping there is fine. There will be some there. If you want to go to the north side you can walk over the bridge. It’s gonna be a little of a walk. You’re gonna enjoy your stay!
