सपना पूरा हुआ ! Finally, hum aa gaye Chitkul and ab yahan aa kar samjh aaya kyn Chitkul ko itna sundar bola jata hai. Aisi wadiyan poore Hindustan mein kahin nahi milengi.
चितकुल से ज्यादा सुन्दर कुछ नहीं देखा।
Chitkul trip has been a dream for me for a very long time and now we are finally heading towards Chitkul, Sangla, Rakcham in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. It was a 8 days trip.

Places visited during our trip -
1. Narkanda - Narkanda is a small village 60 kms away from Shimla. It's elevation is 2708m and is a very beautiful offbeat destinations.
2. Hatu peak in Narkanda - It is the highest point in Narkanda with an elevation of 3400m above sea level. The roads to Hatu peak temple is very narrow and is mostly loose gravel and sand but the drive is fun and adventurous.
3. Rampur Bushahr - It a town in Shimla district and is at an elevation of 1021m. Rampur is a big town with all the facilities. The town is situated at the banks of river Satluj.
4. Sangla - Sangla is a small town in Baspa or Sangla valley in Kinnaur, Himachal pradesh. Sangla to Chitkul is 22 km. It has an elevation of 2712m and is surrounded by big mountains. There are many places to visit in Sangla like Sangla local market, Kamru Fort, Bering Nag Temple, Sangla meadow.
5. Rakcham - Rakcham is a small town in Kinnaur, Himachal pradesh. Rakcham to Chitkul is 10 km. It has an elevation of 2900m and is surrounded by big mountains.
6. Chitkul - Chitkul is the last inhabited Indian village near the Indo-China border. it has an elevation of 3450m and it is really beautiful. The view from Chitkul is really breath taking and the places is almost untouched and unexplored.
7. Chail - Chail is a hill station in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is 44 kilometres from Shimla and 45 kilometres from Solan. It is known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests. A haven for those wanting to escape mind-numbing restlessness of city life, this lovely town was a former summer retreat for the Maharaja of Patiala.
The roads till Chikul are awesome, the highways are well maintained and any car can reach there easily.
