I use cherry jam. The color of the pie will also depend on which berry you have jam from.
Apple, apricot jam - the color of the pie will be golden.
Cherry, red currant - brown color.
Blackcurrant jam can give a green color 😊
But the taste of all pies is excellent.
This cake can be made without scales, just measuring everything with a glass or spoon. I use a glass with a volume of 250 ml.
