what could be more fun than an American watching a German woman in a British flag shirt talking about food from an area of France!

🤣🤣🤣 You have a point here 😂 That’s what Europe is all about, it’s one big (fighting) family. We love and dislike each other but only realize how deeply connected we are once we live abroad.

One line of my German ancestors came from Waldersbach, Departement du Bas-Rhin, Alsace. I really liked your discussion of cream/cultured cream.

These look wonderful! If you wanted small appetizers you could just cut them after baking to be true "finger food."

I made this using a shop bought ready-to-use pizza base, sour cream, and I chopped up leftover fried bacon for the topping instead of the recipe recommendations, and it came out so good I ate too much. Love it!

I looked into that topic but I think I would need more followers before I make such investment. But I'd love to make a cookbook one day!

These look delicious!! Perfect for a party or appitizer for the holidays. My mother's people came from the Alsace region when it belonged to Germany or the Prussian Empire. Many German's settled in St Louis Missouri area. We have the St Louis birth and baptism certificates from the late 1800s, and they are all in German, which I found quite interesting.

Hello, I grew up on the German- French Border next to the Alsace. Parts of my mothers family are from the french side.😊..It's a historical area..! One time it was french the other time german. A big part of my fathers family emigrated in the mittel of the 19th century to the eastcoast of America. Many greetings from Germany 🇩🇪...Caroline

Hello! Someday I hope to get there. People are very proud of their German heritage here. We have October fest and Christkindlmarket here. Not nearly like the ones in Germany of course. My mother in law is German though she was born in what was then Yugoslavia but a German province of Weisskirchen (please excuse spelling). She makes the best pasteries.....Ever!!

@@lauraellen189 Hello, it's nice to hear, that our traditional folk festivals are being celebrated in America. Unfortunately many Germans hier in Germany are no longer proud of their origins . I hope you can visit Germany one day. Of course it's still a beautyful country, even if we now have a lot of economic problems and things look different than they did 20 years ago die to the many refugees in the cities . I wish you all the best....Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪....Caroline
