Congratulations on the newest member of your family. He is precious! Enjoy every moment! Being from outside Japan, it is very interesting to see how different the process of labor and delivery is from my home country. The hospital seems welcoming and supportive of those becoming parents.

He is an important member of our family and means a lot to us! 👶🏻💕 I'm so happy to receive comments from overseas! In Japan, it's common to stay in the hospital for about 5 days after giving birth. I once researched this and was surprised to learn that in some countries, people are discharged the day after giving birth. It's amazing how different practices can be, and I find it interesting to learn about other countries' cultures 😊✨

@natsumi_vlog I'm from the US and it is very common to be discharged 1-2 days after giving birth naturally. If having a C-section it usually is 3 days, which starts on the day of the babies birth. I admire how Japan does 5 days. The other thing I thought was so interesting was that you checked into the hospital the night before you were to give birth. In the US, if being induced, you go to the hospital the day of the induction. If not being induced, you just go to the hospital when the contractions start. Sometimes, if not dilated enough or in active labor, the expecting mother may be sent home. Expecting mothers almost never go to the hospital the day before unless there are serious complications. Thank you for sharing a bit about how the process was for you. I really enjoyed learning about labor in Japan. And I loved getting to see you bond with the handsome little guy. Sending so many thoughts for health and happiness to your family as you continue the journey of parenthood.

it's all so touching when I remember my beginnings as a mother, these uncertainties, it's amazing that you can record and be in such a new world at the same time. But it will be a great souvenir for you and, most importantly, his grandparents will be up to date 😆😆😆. I wish you and your husband to be curious about getting to know this new person in your life🥰

Thank you 🥰 It's amazing how we can easily make videos on our phones and share them with everyone around the world just as easily. Both my parents and his parents are really into the baby and are contacting us more. The baby is making our family closer 👨👩👦💕
