PUTU CAKE RECIPE
Material :
100 gr grated coconut (steamed for 10 minutes)
1/2 tsp salt
110-120 ml water (adjust according to the dough)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pandan paste
200 gr rice flour
100 gr brown sugar
enough banana leaves (as a mold)
Steam the putu cake for 20 minutes
How to make :
1. Pour the grated coconut into a heat-resistant container, add a little salt, stir until smooth and steam for 10 minutes
2. Prepare water, add a little salt and pandan paste then stir until smooth
3. Put the rice flour in a container, pour the water that has been mixed with pandan paste in the rice flour, pour in little by little until the flour becomes slightly sandy (don't let it become a smooth dough)
4. Sift the rice flour to make it finer
5. Prepare the banana leaves then shape them as in the video
6. Place a base on the banana leaves that have been formed earlier so that the dough doesn't fall
7. Add 1 tsp of putu mixture, followed by brown sugar, then putu mixture again (brown sugar is in the middle of the putu cake mixture)
8. Heat the steamer and steam the putu cake for 20 minutes
9. Cut the banana leaves to make it easier to take the putu cake and serve with steamed grated coconut
10. Putu cake is ready to be served
