Japanese mayonnaise is delicious and far superior in taste to standard mayonnaise. It goes well with so many foods that aren’t cooked in sauce or soup, even fried egg.😊 Also, there’s a classic French bistro dish called oeuf dur mayonnaise (basically hard-boiled egg served or covered with mayonnaise) which is usually treated as an hors d’oeuvre. Obviously the mayonnaise is freshly made, not commercially produced.

@@mpb3481 for the record, Mayo is my fav condiment of all time. Really don’t like any other sauce. And having enjoyed the pleasure of Japan many times, I love the flavor. Just never had it with fried eggs (aside from the amazing egg salad sandwiches😊)

@@gracie65girl21 I found and use an instant pot recipe online. The ingredient list is pretty simple, basically a LOT of onions plus the beef, but the most important part is the special curry spice itself. The Japanese curry spice comes as a thick paste in cube form. It’s in a gold package and can be found in the international food section of your better supermarkets or, you guessed it, Amazon. I like a little kick to it so I use a combination of the mild and spicy versions . And yes, it really is delicious!

Japanese mayonnaise is quite different from and, dare I say it, superior in flavor to western mayonnaise. It’s tastes good with a lot of foods not cooked in sauce or soup. So I’m not surprised the Japanese like to put it on fried eggs in lieu of ketchup for example. 😁

Its not just the campsite, its the pizzeria Capri 50m around the corner. These meals can blast your wormhole into another galaxy! Really, literally! We used to travel there at least 2 Times a year (before Cov19) even if its a journey of 600km... So, if you ever come to Europe, this is the second Spot to visit for Lunch.. keep on travelling! 👍🤩
