This video is about DIY replacement of the tangential (cooling) fan in a Delonghi D906 GWF oven. This should only take you 45mins or less to complete and will save you hundreds of dollars rather than getting an electrician to do it.
The main tell-tale sign of a faulty fan is that there is a ticking noise from the oven (caused by failed bearings, which makes the fan hit against something it's not meant to). If you have the same oven as this, the air from the fan blows out the vents at the top (behind the gas burners) so if it's working properly you should be able to feel it blowing out when you first switch the oven on and you should hear the fan spinning as well (bearing in mind that if it's a fan forced oven you will probably also hear this circulating fan as well as the cooling fan).
