What? You were in L.A.? Had I known you were here, I would have greeted you with some welcome gifts. I hope you had a good time exploring the city, but it appears that you found out that our Metro trains, which I rarely ride, have a variety of "unique" passengers. And, at last count, there were approximately 5,700 homeless people LIVING on the trains. I've lived in L.A. my entire life and, sad to say, the city has really spiraled downward. Next time you're here, allow enough time to take a day trip to Catalina Island. It's only one hour away by boat from Long Beach. There's plenty to see and do but it's small enough to be walkable, and it would make for good video content. Travel safely, Jayden!

Delta has stepped up their game post pandemic. The lounge restrictions are an issue of Delta's success. As a Western carrier they are a cut above the other of the "Big three".
@_w_w_

You got it wrong! Lounge issue is not because of Delta's success. It's because 1) they sold access to AMEX card holders; and 2) they sell membership to Delta employee for next to nothing. Sadly, if you read Delta's earning reports, they are not an airline. They are basically a credit card company with vast majority of profit coming from selling miles and access to AMEX.

Great trip report and vlog, Jayden. So what types of snacks are sold in Japan? I've seen some here, including small dried crabs with chili - smelly and foul-tasting, but must be a local thing there. Love the DL A330NEO, and you got a nice upgrade. Lovely dinner, but mediocre breafast. The airfare was really inexpensive, though. I laughed at your comment on American portions - very true, we eat too much food here. FYI, the first 787 I ever saw was at San Diego Lindbergh Field - amazing wingspan. That's a city you should visit - the approach over downtown is pretty neat, but could be nerve-wracking for nervous fliers, given the planes swoop in close to the tall buildings.
