A/C is N755DL. The tan colored Sat-Phone at the aft end of the pedestal is the dead giveaway. It can be seen at 7:48 and was the only DL L-1011 with it.

so glad i got to fly on a delta 10-11, one of my favorite airlines back in the day, they also had some of the best pilots, the widget livery was the best, i also flew on one of delta's oldest 767's, if i remember the number was 101DA or something like that, i have it in my records somewhere.

This plane was active from 1980-2001. From the video quality and cockpit wear, I would guess early 90s. Edit: This was filmed in 1995.

@@stnickwoods thank you so much, Nick. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I'm curious how you came to find the exact year of filming? I thought maybe I could spot an expiration date on the approach plate they showed to get a rough estimate of the year but the quality of the video wasn't good enough.

I like the "3 feet", "2 feet" radio altimeter callouts. You don't get that level of feedback anymore with the modern automated system.

time for rubber removal. they do it pretty often at a high traffic airport. Like every couple of weeks. Smaller airport or less used runway might do it yearly. They use high pressure water mixed with some chemicals that strips it off. They'll remove thousand of pounds of rubber. I worked in airfield management so got to see it done.
