I'm a temporary beneficiary worshiping Lord Shiva but I know Lord Shiva is the greatest Vaishnavism so I have Lord Shiva to direct me to Krishna. 🙏🕉️🪷📿

Bhagavan Shiva is as much a Vaishnava as Bhagavan Vishnu is a Shaiva. Those who worship either Deity for temporary benefits will be awarded just that, whilst those who serve them with permanent blessings in mind will be afforded those too, in due course.

Krishna or Shiva are only names and forms, it's the same Divine Self. No importance at all who you worship, it's always Him (or Her if you love the Goddess form).

In other puranas other than bhagavatam, creation started from Siva, Adishakti, etc. Does that mean Vishnu is a demigod? Vyasa, who is vishnu himself, wrote the other puranas too. Puranas belong to different timelines of creation and destruction. Different puranas happened in the different kalpas of the 100 year old Brahma.

Some Puranas say Lord Vishnu is supreme and others say Lord Shiva is supreme - these statements are only for the purpose of fostering Bhakti (devotion) to one form of God as one’s iṣṭha-devatā or tutelary deity. The main difference between Vishnu and Shiva is - - they are both different manifestation of God, but Lord Shiva reaches into this material world to help the souls on their path.

Vishnu is Parabrahman. Siva and Devi are in many ways the same Gdohead, but Godhead in the role of managing the material world

@@hiii9389 They certainly are, although Vaishnavas won't tell you this because the parts of shastra they focus on are Hari-centric as well as mostly dualistic. That is fine. I followed Chaitanya Vaishnavism myself for almost two decades, but for several years now, have considered myself a Shakta. Shaktism, by the way, is non-dualistic and regards the Pancha-Parameshvaras (which I deem to be untranslatable), as Brahman/Parabrahman/God - take your pick. Our emphasis, evidently is on various manifestations of the Divine Mother and their respective Bhairavas, or loosely, 'consorts,' but Devi is as much the Supreme as Shiva, Ganapati, Vishnu and Surya (despite the fact that the Saura Sampradaya is essentially dead today). Most people who know both Sanskrit and English will tell you that the term 'demigod' is an inappropriate rendering of 'deva.' Let alone the Pancha-Parameshvaras, beings like Brahma (even though he's not immortal, strictly speaking), Kartikeya and even Hanuman are certainly Gods, in the sense in which most people understand this word. I wouldn't even use this word, i.e. demigod, for the elemental controllers like Vayu, Varuna, Agni and so forth, even though there is no Hindu lineage, whether Vedic or tantric, that regards them as Brahman or capable of awarding moksha. Most astikas would refer to these deities as gods, with a small 'g.' In fact, this is what the majority of Vaishnavas do, outside of ISKCON. The restricting of the functions of Shiva and Devi to managing the material world is also an exclusively Vaishnava belief (even here, it's an idea which not all Vaishnava sampradayas share, and I know this for a fact) on account of the 25-odd % of shastra that they concern themselves with. If anyone studies the broader corpus of Hindu sacred literature with an open mind and without sectarian preconceptions, it becomes abundantly clear that Shiva, Devi and Ganesha, in their multiple forms, are as concerned with the spiritual destiny of their votaries, and as capable of granting mukti, as Bhagavan Narayana and his avataras. To conclude, there's no such thing in the Indic Weltanschauung as a demigod. There's Brahman, there are the Brahma-swarupa Devatas known as the Pancha-Parameshvaras, who may be referred to as Gods, and there are, ahem, gods. Pranama.
