Thanks for the demo. Flies well on a 2.2 amp 4 cell battery.

Nice glider Vas . For a swift looks very well behaved , seems to tuned for beginner to intermediate pilots. Not quite as dynamic as I expected but probably a great all rounder. Great video 👍

Yes, exactly. It's the type of glider that will reward you with a relaxing flight while also being borderline sporty when you want it to, especially for it's size.

Hey! That glider has a prop! 😋😋 Actually, I have never seen anyone flying an RC glider. Thank you for sharing! Would a glider be appropriate for a beginner as it can fly so slowly? Or is it more difficult to control than a regular trainer/beginner plane?

Yes, this will suit a beginner for sure. Of course, I would still recommend some stick time on a simulator prior to flying the Swift or help from an instructor if this is your first plane, but you can definitely use this plane as a training platform.

''I'm not big on gliders"... I think you are flying them wrong. IMO Gliders are most fun when there is a relatively non-turbulent medium-high wind. Since you can literally Glide the wind in both directions. Either into it, making it a cool hover challenge or climb up and then glider the wind slope down, achieving immense speeds (with no throttle) to then bleed it into loops, rolls and when you are at low energy, time to activate the engine to go back glide the wind slope once more. So much fun.

I don't think I'm flying it wrong at all, and to say that is very narrow-minded. What you CAN say is that there are various ways to fly them depending on the conditions at hand, the capabilities of the glider and your flying style. This video demonstrates one of those ways. On this day, there was no wind, so even if I wanted to thermal this glider, it would be impossible due to its weight, my location and weather conditions. Yes, this is a large glider capable of flying for long periods without power, and I know this because I've done it. Flying it like I did in this video will offer about 7-8min of flight, but I've had one flight in the wind that lasted about 20min straight on a the same 2200mah 4S. I actually have another video of the Swift lined up for upload where I'm flying it in some pretty strong winds and you can easily see how flight times can go from 7-8min to 20min+. Now, I didn't fly it for that long in that video as it would've been a bit boring to see me hover the plane 2-300mm up for 20min, but the evidence is there to validate the possibility. 🙂

As a beginner that might be good for me, nice and slow
