I've been watching NASCAR for 40 years, and I've NEVER seen a driver so arrogant who has accomplished so little. Unless you want to count a rain-shortened race, Bubba has 1 damn Cup win in nearly 200 starts. He's never even made the playoffs and his best points finish is 19th lol. He's never won a championship in ANY Nascar division. This is despite a VERY well funded career with a billionaire owner. Meanwhile, a guy like Jimmie Johnson won 7 Cup championships, and is more humble than Bubba. Bubba's ego is twice the size of his talent. And it's NOT a racial thing at all. I remember black drivers like Bill Lester, Willy T. Ribbs, and black drivers now like Jesse Iwuji and Rajah Caruth, plus owners like Michael Jordan, announcers like Brad Daughtery, etc. They all seem like good guys. I think racism is stupid, and I hope a young black driver with a GOOD ATTITUDE starts outshining Bubba on the track, and is EMBRACED by NASCAR fans. Because then, Bubba will realize his problem is not "the color of his skin". HIS problem, is the "content of his character".

He drove a shit box til 2021. He won races in trucks. He was in Roush at the tail end of their success. He’s more than qualified for a cup ride. Has he had the most success? No. But William Byron looked like an absolute fool in the 24 car for several years til he figured it out. Bubba just strung together the best month of finishes he’s ever had. He’ll get some more wins, but might not light the world on fire. You probably won’t still be a fan, but I think his results are coming.

He's 14-15 years old, is doing well in school, respectful towards his elders and peers, he probably plays a sport, is a hit with the girls, etc. One day, you and your son are sitting on the couch watching TV and he releases a fart. When you hear it, you would likely laugh about considering that it's a bit out of character for him. Now, imagine having a son who's 14-15 years old and he's a menace to society. Maybe his grades are bad, likely a bully at school, maybe he's gotten in trouble with the law for some petty stuff like vandalism or disorderly conduct, maybe he doesn't get along with his siblings, etc. One day, you and your son are sitting on the couch watching TV and he releases a fart. When you hear it, you're likely so fed up with his antics that you may contemplate throwing something at his head. Right now, Bubba is that latter kid, and this was me pretty much saying that when you get in so much dumb drama as Bubba does, the smaller things he does will upset us as much as the bigger things. I’m glad to hear Denny Hamlin speak up on this issue. I appreciate his honesty. I think Bubba’s problem has nothing to do with his cultural background, in fact he is half Caucasion, half African-American. It boils down to his immaturity and his “poor me” complex. If we are all so racist, then why do we all love Michael Jordan so much? Michael Jordan is an African American. It’s because he has accomplished so much on the basketball court and in business, and look at how he tries to stay low key. Its quite a stark contrast in how a person conducts himself, when you compare Michael Jordan and Bubba Wallace. If Bubba would just stop trying to look cool, he would probably fit in better in the industry.

I think what needs to be remembered by these guys that like to push the limits is, just how many other younger very talented drivers are hungry and want the seat these guys are in. Especially when it’s considering one of the top teams. I consider 23 Xl a top tier team. They’ve got top notch equipment. While as an owner I would be all about the passion that Bubba mentioned, it’s better to let it show in on track performance and not outside car. MJ is all about winning, and he doesn’t want to deal with bad press after every race. I don’t blame Almirola for doing what he did. Back in the day Nascar would have called both into the trailer to talk or listen. That usually would work and for the driver's that different usually found them on a losing end. Today it's like there's a double standard. Nascar racing is going down and needs to rebound it or say goodbye. They are losing viewers and people showing up at the track. Things need to change for everyone to enjoy racing. I hope it is not too late for Nascar heads to make good changes. Driver's like Daryl Wallace have been around in the past and lost there ride because of the attitude.

Hamlin telling people to stop being childish after what he did to Bowman in Martinsville is quite ironic.

I was a fan of Bubba's when he first came on the scene. After the fake noose incident I was done with him and done with Nascar. I watch the highlights on a non Nascar channel. He should have been reprimanded and suspended for that incident. No respect for him at all now.

Bubba is a sign language specialist! He did not want any of Eric Almola! Bubba does not respect the meaning of memorial day! If it wasn't for the hundreds of thousands of men and women that make that day special Bubba Wallace would not be racing!

I think that it's not a good thing when you get told that by Denny, but only from half of the owners of 2311 race owner's and maybe MJ needs to step up and tell Bubba that, he might listen then, an the story will end there, maybe?

Sponsors are gonna be hard to find in the future. You can be a dill hole when you’re winning championships and races. Bubba isn’t doing either one of those things.

I mean, if it’s not necessary for Bubba to do that shit to keep his edge, then yeah, it’s childish to continue doing it. At some point, it’s going to cost him, though, when someone dumps him. If Denny is the boss he needs to put his foot down and set that expectation, but I suspect he doesn’t because he thinks doing so will affect Bubba’s performance.
