The Denobulans are known for their hospitality and social nature as well as the vast population of their homeworld, Denobula.
But there must be more to the species than what we see? They've been right beside humanity for as long as Starfleet took its first steps into the stars but they weren't a founding member of the United Federation of Planets or even a member of the Coalition.
Why is that?
This is the Cultural Index a series aimed at exploring various Science-Fiction species.
For outsiders to a series to get to know the basics and maybe even hardened Sci-fi nuts might discover something new.
