Denon's current batch of HDMI 2.1 AVRs use the first generation of HDMI 2.1 chips, which are incapable of passing 4K 120Hz with HDR, specifically with the Xbox Series X. How then, does their new external HDMI 2.1 adaptor "correct", as they claim, an HDMI 2.1 signal that is not incorrect in the first place back to an AVR with a chip that cannot pass correct information, and call that fixed? There is no other conclusion but that it is stripping information from the correct signal so that the Denon AVR can pass it.

Maybe floor speakers for a real 3d sound bubble would be nice!? Just an idea....
