Hi. Do you have video how to clean each of those dental instruments? What enzymatic detergents do you use? How do you sterilize it? And how to operate the autoclave? Sorry for my queries i wanna learn things from you. Thank you
@CharlysLife
5 жыл бұрын
guardianeyes777 Hi, I don’t have a video about that and I can’t remember the exact name of the enzymatic we used as I don’t do the job anymore, but it’s all really simple in decon. It’s just a case of all instruments through the washer disinfecter and the machine does it all for you...then you check each instrument to make sure they are clean before sterilisation. Again the autoclave does the work for you, the instruments go in and are sterilised in there. Every practice is different for which autoclave they use and how to record sterilisation but we used booklets where we wrote down the initial warm up cycle (pressure bar reading, how long it sterilised for etc) and then kept all of our receipts from the steriliser which showed all of the information x

How much in your opinion should a qualified dental nurse with 2 years of experience earn per hour? Also , how shall I ask my manager for a pay rise? How do I start the conversation?
@CharlysLife
4 жыл бұрын
Hey :) wow that’s a tough question because pay is very practice dependant! I think I was on around £9 ph at that point. I’ve never asked for a pay rise though so I genuinely have no idea how to ask for one 😕 Sorry I can’t be much help there, I just honestly don’t know how you would ask x
