One of the more underrated moves of the NFL offseason was the Denver Broncos snagging a guy that everyone else wanted in Jim Leonhard. While he had offers on the table to become a defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, he took a less prestigious role to join Sean Payton as a Defensive Backs coach. Why would he do this?!? I think Davonte Adams recent quote about the insane talent level of Pat Surtain is a massive part of his rationale for taking a lesser role.
With one of the best slot corners in the league in Ja'Quan McMillian and THE best corner in the league with PSII, I'm so hyped to see how Jim Leonhard flexes some positional flexibility and makes the most of a very talented Denver Broncos secondary.
How hyped are you for the Denver Broncos secondary? Is our defensive back room the best positional group on this team?
