Rona scares a lot of ppl but more than anything besides the hobbyist and the small time collector most of the people at gemshows are foreigners both vending and buying stuff they can’t get in their country From what I was able to tell the last two years most of the vendors are having a hard time getting into the country because of Rona and what their countries will and will not allow them to do such as traveling or bring back things in bulk

@@lapidarydave good information. There seems to be fears still. My family has just traveled to Hawaii and they were beyond and level of separation that we've seen in the midwest. So many people in freak out mode.

@@lapidarydave Never been. This would be my first time. I've only attended one trade show, The Munich Gems and Minerals show and that was definitely the wrong show for the type of gemstones I deal with though I now have tourmaline specimens and the like. So, I'm trying to find out where I should exhibit during the Tucson Show since there are multiple locations. I have a newly discovered type of Diaspore (Zultanite) that I'd like to showcase. I can see from your videos that you know your way around many exhibition hubs and that's why I'm reaching out to you. I'd love to meet you there, by the way.

@@PointmanOps I would suggest either the 22nd St. show or the holo dome/gem mall both are a higher budget show where is the more precious materials than others I personally do not like jogs as a little oversaturated however even though I do suggest as to places I would say more than anything that you should go to the show one year before selling to really find the place yourself I can’t stress enough that I really think you should go before you try to sell for your first time take this year to do some research when you’re there and then do the show the year after that

Just to be correct. Chrome chalcedony is colored by the trace element Chrome. Chrysoprase is colored by the trace element Nickle. They are different and should be called properly. You may want to correct your video. Tanzania, and Australia are the big producers of Chrysoprase. Zimbabwe is the big producer of Chrome Chalcedony.
