I read in a local paper a few years ago, one family lost their home to the i70 expansion and one of the relatives went back to see how their old home/area and what "progress" had been made. His family's old home had been deemed historic and sold. I'm guessing here, but I bet worth at least twice what they were given. It's now considered part of the rino art district, which is expanding every day in every way. Imo, their home was stolen from them. The city is making bank removing impoverished, or close to, families. Progress. Greed. It's heartbreaking

The Constitutions protect against this abuse of power. No right may be taken except for a trial by jury (US Constitution). Right includes money, possessions, livelihood (occupation), and property. The Oregon Constitution requires the people be compensated for the water they take from them in the same way as if land was taken for public use. In Colorado land may not be taken unless it's justly compensated and the land owner can require a jury decision before land may be taken. "Private property shall not be taken or damaged, for public or private use, without just compensation". Damage includes enacting policies that ruin the property value. The county MUST compensate the people for those actions and the people can keep the property. Read and learn your Constitutions. The Law, the Constitutions protect against all this...

I've had clients in and around Denver for decades....just watching, over the years, the development around DEN is mind-boggling....and set up in a way to set in motion the 15-minute city concept all around the area without much fuss.
@Gamerguy94

If DEN is trying to adopt the 15 minute city concept, they're doing a rubbish job at it. Detached single-family homes are still going up left & right, even around public transit. The city is still super car-dependent. We have a ton of land around Denver, we just use it inefficiently.

@@Gamerguy94 no doubt, but the area around the airport is specifically being built to be 15-minute city friendly - each section of condos are multi-purpose and has the bank, a couple of restaurants, small grocery, and a couple of misc shops. Those little enclaves are dotted all along the roads leading to the airport and 20 years ago, it was nothing; 10 years ago, barely anything, and now the perfect set up to cordone off the areas into small self-contained communities without much fuss.

I am 62, live in the suburbs of Mpls and just finished a "Food As Medicine" class. My teacher was pushing "plant-based diets" but we did have a LOT of material that we watched that was good. There was a documentary about the fact that organic farming is actually better for the environment and CAN produce enough food for the world. (Despite the food/agri-undustrial complex/Bill Gates claiming that they need to farm with the gmo "patented " crops in order to be able to "feed the world"......🙄 The organic farming IS slower AT THE BEGINNING, but in the end, it has better results in multiple ways. Not only that, but I JUST read a SECOND article yesterday (and the other one was in the last couple-ish weeks) about the DANGER of the synthetic meat. Cancers etc. Yeah, and lastly, my teacher had us read an article about the concern of the situation in Ukraine and why THAT was causing a food crisis. I wrote that the food crisis was caused by the WAR on farmers, starting in the Netherlands but also currently going on in Germany and France and Poland also. I mentioned how they claim "cow farts" are causing climate change.... And WOW.... She did NOT like that! She reprimanded me for not giving accurate information and she wrote an entire paragraph to me about the methane gas from cows! Hahaha I got an "A" in the class, which finished a week ago and I have a collection of videos and info from KZitem that I'm going to send her so that she can expand her knowledge lol. Fortunately I'm not relying on her for anything academically ... I just took the class to learn, and I did learn some. But I knew much already. I will say, regarding THIS video... They want to get rid of the small farmer, but they have no intention to get rid of the huge slaughterhouses.....(And there are only 4 now in the US I believe). Isn't THAT interesting, because THOSE places are the ones that have the health dangers! But that's where the money is and also, their intention is to control the FOOD. (So they can't have the "little people" providing for themselves) 😤😡 Quote by Henry Kissinger (he was in the WEF)...."He who controls the food controls the 🌎 !!!)

We need to decentrilize our commodity production. Food, power, etc. All should be locally focused first. Then imported to the area as needed. Stop allowing national and international companies to dominate commodity production through local government. It destroys the very concept of a democratic republic.

It's going to be a surveillance state , They want to control our water are food every single aspect of our lives. Butchers know nothing but their trade, as a farmer, a contractor, iron worker, oil field workers etc those are trades and many of us know that trade and NOTHING ELSE. So to say “if this slaughter house goes ill have nothing else or I have/know nothing else but this ___trade skill” that’s a good thing! You should know more than 1 trade skill but at least they have a trade and they make their living from it!! We all do every day!!!!!!! We aren’t in cubicles or offices! We provide you all with food, homes, energy…..
